My mother has a 1971 240Z- totally stock, that she bought new. Since she is 82 now, she has asked my help in selling it.

I am trying to find a price range and a best way to sell it- Ebay? Here? Craigslist?

I see 1971 Z's that are modified or fixed up, or ones that seem to be junk shells, but I haven't seen a one owner, totally stock car. She drives it a couple of times a year, but that is all- other than that it is in the garage.

Any idease about a price range and selling options?

Thanks for the help~ Mark

Pictures would be very helpful. Also any documentation on the vehicle makes the value increase. Collectors love having a cars history and proof of it. Ebay is ok for sales, craigslist typically is full of low ballers. I've used both avenues and have had mixed success with both. Ebay gives you more passive options to deal with buyers than craigslist. Ebay you post up your car , with a reserve price you are comfortable with selling at, and if it doesn't sell you can just relist. Craigslist you get bombarded with spam emails, lowball callers and tire kickers, be weary of bringing people to your house too, I'll usually meet potential buyers at a mall or some public area, i've sold alot of ATV's over the years and people like to steal stuff so I don't want them knowing where I live or where things are stored. I have sold on both as I said i'm not trying to scare you from craigslist you may find a great buyer its a shot in the dark. Just my 2 cents.
