Description

Hello,  I'm looking for the 2 strips of rubber needed (upper and lower.) to put in a new front window glass  in a datsun 280zx 2+2.  there is a firm in the States who sells one of them but i need both, these strips with (stainless?) clips are NLA for some time, who has a solution to this problem?

I could just lay the stainless trimming into some rubber sealant.. but then you can forget it to take the trimming of in one piece when your window needs replacement.

sought advice!

You just silicon the upper and lower chrome trims after you lay in the windshield. That's what I did to mine. They are not available any where unless somebody have them in his stash.

Thanks Borini63,  (did not get a mail after your reaction..)  sorry for the late answer,

I could do what you are saying but when the front glass breaks you can't get the very breakable stainless strips off in one piece i'm afraid...
