CONDITION:
This Datsun impresses with the untouched engine compartment and the used but preserved originality throughout. The exterior has all of its original body panels. The body is straight, and panel gaps are factory correct throughout. The minimal chrome is original, and all fasteners are factory-correct. Original badging is free of cracks and has a lovely patina while still shining brightly. Records show this car was repainted in the 1990s; paint prep work was excellent, resulting in a durable finish that continues to shine three decades later with no underlying issues.

Underhood, the Datsun impresses with its originality. Well-maintained for 49 years, this engine bay has a patina that will never be replicated. Factory paint on all inner fenders is clean and intact, as is the paint on the original air cleaner box. All wiring and hoses are in good condition, with no degradation. Factory original stickers are in place throughout. There are no leaks from the engine, radiator, or any reservoirs. Radiator, fan, and minimal shroud are original and in great condition.

Moving inside, the Datsun continues to display originality and gorgeous patina. The dash pad is original and is smooth and even, without any cracks or signs of prior repairs (Amazing!). The central control stack is original, as are all gauges and the clock. The Center tunnel is original with intact; the diamond pressed vinyl is free of any cracks or tears. The shift and parking brake boots are free of blemishes. The original, dealer-installed A/C controls are tastefully mounted in their own pod on the console's left side, rather than ruining the original dash/console. Please note that the AC is not working. The steering wheel is intact, with no cracks in the plastic or wood. There are signs of thumbs wrapped around the wheel at 3 & 9 spokes and minor wear on the gear shift knob, telling a 49-year story of driving enjoyment.

Underbody tells another take of originality and preservation. The condition is original and very impressive. No rust, except for the typical oxidation at the inner fender frame rail on both sides. We have undertaken the factory-correct repair, removing the panel on both sides and replacing them with 2-plates on each side, using a slightly thicker metal for added rigidity and strength. COMPREHENSIVE INSPECTION & SERVICE STATUS:
We performed a comprehensive vehicle inspection. Our master technician checked the entire vehicle, who was very impressed with the vehicle's condition. The vehicle was road tested and all functions tested, including electrical, drivability, and accessories. All maintenance and service updates were completed, as well as Concours-level reconditioning and detailing work.
