You guys tell us about your adventures this time around. Unfortunately after 3 ZCONs in a row, I need a break for other things this year. Would have been cool to see the actual Z after last years "cardboard" reveal.

My 15 year old son Jake and I will be hitting the road with the 1970 Nissan Fairlady Z in the car hauler. We will arrive at ZCON on 17 August after a stopover at Mount Rushmore, South Dakota (2,086 miles). We will depart ZCON 22 August headed for Grand Canyon, Arizona, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and Dallas, Texas b efore returning home to Lake Shore, Maryland (5,315 miles total).

Finished booking rooms for the Arkansas Jims. Funny---before you couldn't get 2 double beds---now you can't get King size. Some things aren't quite right but maybe it will get sorted. Kagy (the wifey) and the 2 white furry varmints are hanging-on for the duration unless they get 11th hour cold feet.

Just announced - 400 rooms added to the block at the same rate. Get 'em before they're gone!

The ZCCA is trying to increase the block of rooms. This is going to be a busy convention.

I was able to make a reservation yesterday thru the link ZCCA provided. It looks like only King bed rooms are available now, no rooms with the two doubles. Keep in mind these are suites so there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

So I received an email today about the hotel block. I was having trouble discerning what it meant. Is the block of 1000 rooms booked up already??? or something else?

So who else is planning on going?

We'll try not to disappoint.

FYI, when looking at the ZCON website on a phone, there should be a menu icon in the top right corner of the screen (on top of the second N in Nissan on the image below). It is the 3 horizontal bars. When you touch it, it brings up the site menu. You can get to the hotel link that way.

@SteveJ tks, I could not see it while checking the phone version of the website. On the computer there was no problems and I have changed my booking to the Embassy Suite. See you there! Cheers.

Are you clicking on the Hotel link at http://zcon.org? Are you choosing dates from 12-20 September 2020? I just tried it, and there are rooms available. I do not know if there are any issues with booking if you are not in the US. I set my reservation from 13-20 September and didn't have any issues. You can reserve the hotel room without registering. Registration should be open later this month. The committee is still ironing out details.
