This is a complete writeup of all the parts needed to convert that gauge cluster and lights in the 280z. 

This writeup was made in conjunction with many Facebook members.

I had been looking for years for a good proper LED conversion for the car and had never found anything that hit every single bulb.

I looked up the BA7 bulb and can say that no my switch does not use that type of bulb. Now I am happy to put that disclaimer that bulbs may vary by year. My 77' and 78' use that flat type 2721 type bulb instead of the BA7 push in and twist type. Can confirm this as that bulb is currently being used in my setup right now. Love to do writeups of other year Z's so let me know!
