Up for sale is a 1974 Datsun 260z. Bought it two years ago with plans on fully rebuilding it to a period correct build. Like most stories, life got in the way and rather it go to someone that has the time and finances to get this automobile to proper running condition and be used. I bought a 1976 280z that was in rough shape and way beyond my skillsets but used it as a parts car for a few items for my 240. The wife is complaining about having two Datsuns in the garage (as if you could have too many) so I want to part out the car as much as possible before it goes to the crusher. I have an extremely nice set of 14" Western wheels, we will refer to them as fake Centerlines. They have Pirelli tires on them however, the car sat for years and while the tires look good, I suspect they are square from sitting and have some cracking. I have not driven the car with them on it, so we will assume they are no good. I am asking $350 for the wheels with lugs which include a lock lug and all center-caps. Nice original driveshaft, pulled from a non-running early-model 260Z (prod. 11/73) with 4-speed transmission and R180 w/ curved mustache bar. Should fit other years with that drivetrain configuration, but can't guarantee that. U-joints still seem tight; no slop. Shaft and splines clean and undamaged. $80 plus shipping. Thx for looking.
