I have a 4 speed out of a 4/71 240Z. Is there any interest in these early tranny's? Are they worth any more than the type B? I don't plan on keeping it, but I also am not interested in shipping it. It was pulled from a parts car that was parked due to rust, I am told. So I do not know its condition. It's in Lincoln, NE if anyone is interested.

So that others may live... More treasures from the 12/71 parts car, here is a set of 240Z inspection lids with screws and washers. The right side lid has some rust on the underside, likely from exposure to battery gases. The parts are free to a good home working on resto project, I need only the $13.50 postage costs for a USPS Medium Flat Rate box (CONUS only). PM me if interested. Jim

My 1971 240 Z is going up for sale. I have developed this car for track days and have been modifying it for several years. Tons of goodies and some very nice work has been done to this car. Do not think that this car can be put back to stock, because it cannot. If the car does not sell pretty soon, I will part it out and do it that way. I would like to sell the car as is and all the spares I have which will be listed on an attachment. The motor is not good as I put a rod through the block. However, all the other engine parts like triple Mikunis, hjigh torque starter, aluminum radiator, dual fuel pumps, R-200 rear end with Quaife, 5 speed tranny, fuel cell, etc, etc…

Free 1970 240z located in Bowdoinham, Maine at Hoyt's Automotive on Rte 125 (right off I-95). This car was a well-maintained summer daily driver for years until the early 90s, then stored in a barn until 2014. Has been at Hoyt's Automotive since then. Jeff needs the space in his lot and plans to junk the car. The car's owner doesn't care, but ok'd my posting the car here as free-for-the-taking. I don't have any photos. I think the color was racing green. Please take it and restore it!! Ask for Jeff Hoyt (owner of Hoyt's Automotive). Was a great car! Thanks, --A friend of the owner

Unicorn: a mythical animal typically represented as a horse with a single straight horn projecting from its forehead. Alt.: a rare Datsun part, usually made of unobtanium. I took this rubber steering coupler from a 12/71 parts car recently. Its in amazing condition - the rubber is flexible and lively, NO CRACKS or other damage, no signs of aging, bolts/nuts are in perfect condition - no thread damage. I've used a wire wheel on the plates and bolts to remove rust, bathed everything in Metal Ready. I'd throw a coat of black paint on the plates but its too cold to paint right now. Offering it here to fellow enthusiasts before listing on any classifieds or eBay. Pr…
