Hi I am looking at getting a set of early 260z bumpers to put on my 240z. Both sets I am looking at I am going to have to make an offer on and I dont know what they are supposed to be worth. Both sets seem to have good crome and only minor dents and scratches.

I'm converting my 71 240Z to CV. So far I have the R180 CV side flanges (from a 720 4x4) and inner CV tulips. I want to run the 300ZXT CV outer CV joints using Modern Motorsports companion flanges. I need a 300ZXT axle shaft for the machinist to properly spline the custom axles. It could be the the 280ZX (the same as the 720) are the same as the 300ZXT. Can you help? NOTE: I need the four bolt CV type, not the six bolt CV type. I don't know if there are differences in the axle shaft so I don't want to chance it.

I have access to a 2.3 litre turbo from a 1995 Saab 9000. Supposedly they make somewhere near 230 horse and around the same ammount of torque, but from like 2000 - 5500 rpm it remains constant. It is a really smooth pull. I was wondering if anyone had tried to put anything that bizzare into their early z-car. Mine is a 72 with an L28 in it. Its a lot of fun, but I also own a 2000 9-3 and when you drive it, you can't help but to wonder what it would feel like in the Z. The 185 horse motof pulls it through the 1/4 in 15.7 sec. So the Z would be pretty quick. Thanks, Brian

How will a 73 rear bumper fit on my 71? I recall the front 73 bumper seems to stick out quite a bit further but what about the rear? I'd like it to look reasonably close to the original 71 style. Would it be easy to mount? Also what is everyones opion about those after market chrome bumper guards?

I have a 1971 240 which came with factory air. The AC compressor was removed by the previous owner for performance reasons. I live in metro Phoenix and the car is basically unusable during the summer months without the AC. I have access to an AC compressor out of a 1976 280Z. Will I be able to use it?
