Hey, I'm wondering if the number of output shaft splines on the differential of an R200 is the same as on the Nissan S13 (early 240sx). Because if so, you could theoretically swap an aftermarket LSD for an S13 (which are really popular installs) into an old Z diff case. Anyone know how many splines are on the shaft by any chance?

ok so heres a thought. take the stock 280Z manifold, slice it in half right before the injectors, at a 90degree angle. now, take the maxima diseal inake, and slice the runners off those at both ends, so you just end up with straight pipes. now weld them onto the injector units that you cut off from the 280Z manifold. boom, youve got long runners with injector bungs at the end that bolts right up to the head. now for the pleum..... the diseal manifold is in two parts: runners and pleum. take the pleum off. build a flange and weld it to the end of the new runners you built, once again welding at a 90degree angle. then, drill bolt holes for the diseal pleum, and bolt it up…

I'm after a set of L14 rods for my stroker combo but I also have a couple of questions? Listed below is a set of rod lengths quoted from member Alan Pugh in another thread I could not reply to that thread as it's part of the old classifieds system. My question is if the L16 rods are the same length as the L14 rods then why do people go for the L14 is it the type of piston you can connect to it? I think the L14 uses 8mm bolts and the L16 uses 9mm from what I've been reading can anyone clarify this? L24 L20A L16 rods should be easy to come by so im wondering what the advantage of a L14 rod would be. BTW I'll be using custom forged pistons in my application.

Hi Friends, I installed A few weeks ago a set of polyurethane mustache bar bushings. But after this, the noise of the diff-gears increased so much , that I don't like driving with closed windows anymore. Many people her did the same, but am I the only one with with this complains ? I'm sure that there is no metall connection what can transmit the noise. And the diff is o.k too. Thanks in advance Rainer

I am looking for a header flange for a square port (or round port if you have one) head. I am going to make a custom header and want a flange to work from. If you have an old rusted out header you can cut the flange off, I will have a new one made from it as a template. Let me know if you can help... Thanks Jason

What hose connections must be connected on the stock '71 air cleaner for a 240Z to run correctly? For example the connection below the air cleaner intake.....I see some cars with nothing attached to it. http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=15480 I am thinking of buying a Z Theraphy redone air cleaner and was curious which connections not currently connected that may have to be added. See my current setup below. I am hoping I can just swap out the air cleaner K & N element and bolt on the refurbished air cleaner.

I am in the process of restoring a 260Z Air Cleaner and want to know where I can find the decals that are on it. The ones that are on it are decent but I want them to look new. Also I need the gaskets they were all worn and in need of repair. If anyone is interested in this let me know. I'm going to sell it when I'm done. It is the one with the summer/winter switch on the mouth opening. Thanks alot guys! Mike

Anyone know of a good way to store bare metal parts that may have to sit around for awhile? I'm thinking something the size of an engine block. The outside will be painted but the guts will be exposed and oil free while I wait to have the bottom end balanced and the cam ground etc. Texas is extremely humid so rusting may be an issue. I say that but my partially bare metal shell has been sitting for over a year with no obvious problems but I think you have to be more careful with parts that won't be painted like the inside of an engine. Thanks - Michael
