Found this Trust Twin Turbo kit on eBay.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7945759914&category=33742&sspagename=WDVW HS30-H would you happen to know if Trust really released this TT kit for our cars.. or if this is some home garage fabrication.. also it looks like it was removed from a RHD car.. so putting it into a LHD car would require some modification right... with the steering rack right? Anyway.. maybe others wanted to see this

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew the intake and exhaust valve clearance for a 78 280z when the engine is cold and also do you take off the rocker springs for this adjustment. Thanks

I need to get a new AFM for my 78 280Z, because the dealer tekkie said it was messed up from somebody trying to adjust it. The omly problem isthat the number plate on it is worn clean, so the part # is not there. How can I determine the correct part # for my engine? Could I just upgrade to the 240SX AFM instead (assuming it's an improvement)? I will be returning to the dealer to have them adjust whichever AFM I get later. thx.

cleaning the carbon from the pistons I pulled from My L28...and they say Y34 on the top. I wouldnt have thought anything of it, except that one piston is differetnt, it says 'std' and appears to have a deeper dish than the Y34...any ideas which is the standard L28 one and where the other type came from ?

After I went through most of the EFI (checking areas that could have produced the symptoms of surgeing)... I cleaned connections (TPS AFM thermotime and CSV and water temp) Checked out the AFM and cleaned it up, purchased a new cap and rotor, new plugs and wires and ignition coil. And also adjust the TPS. And to no avail.... One of the things I did not think about and regretfully overlooked was the injectors... what if there were particles perhaps blocking injectors, causing fuel blockage which could cause surges... I went to the store and bought 2 bottles of prestone FI cleaner and put 1 in before getting some nice 93 octane... and WALA, drove the car for about 30 mins …

Hey I just bought a timing light and engine "analyzer" at Sears, and will hopefully begin to use this stuff soon to tweek my 71 and 79 Z's, as well as my 82 dodge van. In looking through the manuals for these items. I noted extra instructions for the "advance timing light" which I did not buy. I just got the inductive light. Should I have bought the advance model? What benefits would this one give me? Since it is Sears I could probably take the other one back. Also, what timing setting are most folks using for their 240's? The 71 service manual has dramatically different settings for emission controlled and non emmission vehicles. My air pump and galley have been removed,…

I think I may have a vacume leak, where do I begin to check, and how do I tell. The car seems to cut out and the RPMS will jump up occasionally. Also part of the problem may be that spark plugs in cylinder 5 and 6 seem to foul out quickly, what do I need to adjust. Also would a valve cover gasket leak cause this? -73 240Z, flat top carbs, monza exhaust, omni spark wires
