Hi guys I'm wondering does anyone know if Nissan ever made a (single) carbie 3.0 litre engine from the factory??? If so, in what car? Also, is there any way of recognising what kind of diff a diff is just by looking at it (while it is still on the car)? Thanks for your time!

I have been searching and searching for the best choice for my L28e..... with N42 head, for performance. My first modification, I plan on getting exhuast. However, ontop of the exhaust, I naturally have a choice for headers. According to my research based off of this Forum, Zcar.com and HybridZ, a new set of headers is completly useless.. *UNLESS* you get equal length headers. This will allow the flow to be improved, but based off of people who have purchased headers, they rarely feel a big difference, other than the sexy sound. Also I have read that new headers, will increase your Temperature under tha hood.... compared to the stock manifold What I am trying to ask,…

I bought a cam from motorsport (part# 10-2003) and I put about 6000 miles on it. after pulling off the valve cover to inspect it was very worn. I think it wasn't geting enough oil. Do I need to block off the cam oiler with the block off plates or do I need a new cam oiler? thanks

I just acquired a 1971 240z sportser. I noticed that the exhaust pipe under the car has rusted away leaving a 1 foot gap in the middle of the pipe. I wanted a good system but didn’t know what to buy. I would appreciate if someone could give me a recommendation. Thanks again, Mc

1978 280Z As far as I can tell, the vaccuum cannister (not charcoal cannister) is only needed for the heater controls. Is it possible to completely eliminate it? The charcoal cannister has a separate vacuum line from the intake manifold. Ones less thing to plug up the engine bay... thx.

Well i got my 280z in dec of last year and I have finally got it to the point to where i could trust it as my daily driver. Before then it was sitting over a year. My daily commute is about 120miles total at least M-Th. So far the car is doing ok, er....i think. 2 weeks ago i changed the oil since i planned on driving more now. (i changed it when i first got it in dec also) I started driving it(been doing ok for a week now) four days ago i looked at the oil and it was transperent and barely noticeable on the dip stick. Now today it is very black. I am probably going to do another oil change. What could cause the rapid change in oil color? In my 240z (when i had it) the …

Does anybody know of a good dyno shop in the central Florida area. There used to be one in Tarpon Springs called Tune Tech but they're no longer in business. So many of the dyno shops in the Tampa Bay area are for "bench testing". Would really like a shop that knows Z's. The engine is ultra modfied with around 1300 miles on it. You think it needs more break in time before dyno testing? ZRush
