I was looking through the Nissan Parts program I have and noticed that there are tons of different part numbers for 240z door panels. What are the correct Nissan part numbers for black door panels?

I'm getting pretty tiad of searching and nothing have come up so far. This is the lazy way of finding out and since i don't want to pull my seats now i'm asking around. Do the -73 seats have springs and not webbing, i put my hand under the seats and it feels like it have springs, i like to get the seats tightened up a bit, i'm getting pretty tiad of driving around feeling that my arse:ermm: is right over the floor pans, any hints on how to do this, can it be done. When I took my seats completely apart, I didn't mark the bottoms for L/R. It is possible to switch them up when you re-assemble them. The only difference is the side that the seat adjustment lever ends up sticking out from. The attached pictures are of my drivers seat. The seat adjustment lever is coming out on the right side. Can someone check their car to see if I got it right. I have a feeling its backwards. BTW, the white leather upholstery and seat cushions from ClassicDatsun look great. Since I don't have the car back from the shop yet, I set the seat in my living room. It looks like nice furniture, and is very comfortable. They also have more side bols…

I have a spare set of dash end vents (a.k.a. 'eyeball vents') for my 71, and would like to clean them up. They have a stubborn , greenish tarnish on them. I have tried a bleach solution, some tile and grout cleaner and gentle application of a brass brush. The chromed plastic still doesn't come clean. Any suggestions?

Well, it finally happened. My driver's regulator went out. I removed the door panel and it seems that the gear is free spinning inside the regulator. I've decided to replace it but I'm having trouble finding one. Any ideas where I can get one?

Does anyone know of a source for an original or excellent reproduction hazard light toggle switch for an early '71? I reviewed a lot of older posts on the subject matter, but no comments/advice on where to purchase a replacement. Aftermarket options don't seem to exist for this? Current switch does not stay toggled in the "on" position, just falls back down and turn signals and hazards don't work No blinky, no clicky, no lighty inside or out. This is a new "Spring-time" issue :cry:as everything worked perfect last fall. Assuming now from all the previous posts on this that the hazard switch acting like this has most likely caused the issue. Any ideas on sourcing or…

Will a 280 dash bolt into a 240? I have searched but not found any info. I know the wiring is different and the heater controls are different also. I have a complete 280 dash without cracks and I would like to see if I cna swap it for my cracked 240 dash. I have both the console and the dash. Has anyone done this swap?

I have purchased two dash mats from vendors on ebay and neither fit worth a dang! My dash like any other that has been exposed to the sun and is cracked, but i dont want to put a dash cap on it nor do i want to replace the whole thing just yet. I just need a good fitting dash mat to hide the eyesore fro the time being.

The mysterious part thread inspired me to ask. I took out my center console. To sand and paint and when i did i found an extra light underneath. With nowhere to put it that i see. If i had to guess i would say it was for the ashtray. But i see nowhere for it to go.

When I was installing my new refurbished Z clock in my 71 240Z, I Noticed at the top left corner of the glove box was a little white push button. Mine was not connected to anything, but later found the wire that it goes to. I did not see where a light would fit, what is this little button for?
