There's minor white overspray on some of the black plastic panels in my 240z. What can I use to remove the overspray without ruining the plastic?

Does anyone happen to have a Japanese RH drive model steering wheel, which has different steering spoke angle. (US ones are deeper) It is not a collectable or anything, but it gives a small driver a little room when the seat is all the at front. My wife is 4"10, and she likes original large diameter steering, but it is too close to her body when she slides the seat all the way up. I tried Datsun Competition steering wheel, which has same spoke angle as Japanese Fairlady Zs, but it was hard to steer for her due to its smaller diameter I would like to buy one. ......It does not have to have JDM horn botton, or anything. I decided I can't put the 36 year old carpet back in the Z. However, the rear deck carpet is literally like new. It's almost like the PO never opened the hatch. Since the repro'd ones apparently don't have the cutouts for the luggage straps, and mine is like new, I'd rather keep my original and only replace the ones in front and behind the seats. I'm trying to find a kit that doesn't include the rear deck carpet, and I've checked the usual sources (MSA, TooIntense, Black Dragon, etc.), no luck. Does anybody make a kit without the rear deck carpet? Thanks

Has anyone installed the sprint/speed series of seat? Just wondering what mounting parts I will need to install them in my 73. I would like to adjust vertically, as well as maintain slideability. Thanks in advance, Brandon

I was thinking about getting some different seats for my car but my interior is tan so I just want to see if anyone else has swapped the seats. You can pull just about any color of seat with a black interior but I think i'll be limited to just black color seats.

Dose anyone know if the seat rails or sliders are the same for the 240Z from 72-73 ? I have a 72 and looking to try an aftermarket set of seats in it. Now I also have a 73 and would like to use the sliders from those seats for my aftermarket seats. Only I dont wana do all that work if the mounts are not the same from 72 - 73. Thank you.

HLS I don't have any specific problems right now except for trying to find some parts.ery hard to find parts like the rubber grommet on the shift boot for the early Z cars. But I will ask when things come up. I will get some pics when I can figure out how to do it. The Burt Reynolds thing is interesting.

The board for the door panels are in great shape but the vinyl is not. I was wondering if anyone has gone and just bought there own vinyl and covered the door panels themselves? If so how did it turn out?

On the Datsun 240z seat, there is a hem/loop sewn into the seat cover between where your butt crack and knees go. A metal rod goes through the hem/loop, and that metal rod has loops on each end that stick out from the hem/loop. When the seat cover is installed, the hooks on the end of the rod are pulled downwards and tied to the bottom seats straps or spring in the case of the 1973 240z giving the seat a proper contour. (there is one for the head rest also). Does anyone know the original material for the hem/loom? When I removed a previous recover (with plush fabric center/vinyl outside), I noted that the material used for the hem/loom was regular fabric that had rip…
