Hey all My windshield has a big crack, well its not really a crack but a big circle like from a bat or bottle, etc... Bottom line is I will need a windshield soon. Anyone used the shaded one from Black Dragon Auto? $150 seems pretty cheap, or is it cheaper at a local glass place? I also see it is "shaded" with a tint strip; how dark is this tinted, if anyone has used these...front tint is illegal unless real subtle, stock benz, bmw have some i think. Thanks

Hi all, I am a new owner of a white 73 240Z. All the interior trim is red with black carpet, but the seats are black. Was this the origional color for the seats, or were they red?

Just letting everyone know my experience. I purchased a can of gloss black duplicolor interior paint. I clean the door panel extremely well. I sprayed a small section and it looked GREAT! As it started drying, it started to lose its gloss. When it was fully dry, it was completely FLAT. Nowhere near a semi-gloss and looked worse then the factory color. I thought there was a possibility of the can lids being swapped out in the store so I went to a different autozone and purchased another can of gloss black. This was the same color as the first can. I decided I would not do the entire interior so I thru some turtle wax interior shine on the door. The painted area doesnt abs…

Hello I am trying to print out my own white gauges. My car is in storage. Anyone know the diameter of the speedo/tach? I measured 3.5 or 3.75 inches . Dont want to print out on the good photo paper if its the wrong size. If the speedo is the right size on my printout than the rest will be as well, since it was scanned from the right gauges. Do you have to pull the dash to get to the speedo tach?? Thanks

Are mechanisms available that can be fitted to my 1970 Z seat that will allow its back to tilt forward? Reaching behind the seat is a pain. Mike

Thursday I am getting a 76 280z. He also has a 77 280z that I can take parts out of. Ive read that the 77 door panels wont fit the 76. Is this true? Anything else that wont switch over? Could the door panels work with very little mod or is it a completely different setup?

The other thread on shift knobs got me looking at several I have sitting around... I have several '70s vintage 240Z shift knobs, all of which would benefit from having a new shift pattern plastic button on the top. It seems that cracking is a very common problem. Can anyone provide a lead with respect to where replacements for these "buttons" can be found? I've looked high, low and in between, but obviously not at the right place. The factory parts manual I have doesn't break the knob down to component parts.... Since the new knobs being sold have them, I'd assume they are still in production somewhere, but where? Any ideas? Picture of three in less than great shap…

I have searched & searched and I still can't find it. Someone commented about using older model BMW 325i seats in a 240Z. I believe it was within the last 2 or 3 weeks. Anyone remember where it was? Thanks

...On the driver's side... ...Passenger's... Both buried under the dash as shown, discovered while I was attempting to get the heater blower motor working again (isn't the motor itself btw, now suspecting bad selector lever?) Anyway, I'm puzzled as to what the above do... I can indeed "push" and "pull" them, and when pushed or pulled they appear to block air flow out of a slot, and when in the middle air can freely exit that slot... Which seems a bit useless, and as the heater blower motor still doesn't work, it's harder to tell in practice what their function must be, doesn't seem to be in any manuals, I'd love to hear what they do  ...Also, extra credit.…
