Hi all, I've been looking for replacement for those "vent holes" / "vent buttons" on the back of early Z's seats. For the life of me I can't find anywhere that sells them on the interenet. I'm guessing there is an official name for those little vents that I don't know about. If any one can help me out on the name, or where I can find them I would be very greatful. Thank you.

I'm replacing the inner door panels in my '73 and the ones being installed need to be tinted from white to black. Tried Plasticolor vinyl tint but didn't like the cheap plastic looks of it. Suggestions anyone ?

Well i purchased a used hatch strut support about a month ago and i finally got the time today to install it on my Z only to find out that it seems to seized. It won't collapse. I tried putting some WD 40 and hitting it with a rubber mallet but it still won't go down. Is there something special that i have to do to make it collapse?

I just replaced the door seals on my '76 and now can't close the doors. I've checked the clearance between seal and door, and it appears that the rubber seal is not folding back when the door closes. Seems to me that I shoudl trim off some of this seal for it to compress, but I don't want to waste a good seal. Any help is appreciated.

I was wondering if the Black dragon door weatherstrip comes with the "welting already attached" or if they sell that seperatly? I am going to buy a replacement and i was looking at the motorsport auto version and the website said that i would have to purchase the welting.

Anyone have a Hitachi or Clarion stereo AM/FM radio for a 1978 280Z that they want to sell? Ebay sellers want too much money to fit my budget.

Hello all. I'm getting ready to embark on an interior restoration of my 75 280 and I have some questions. Hope I can get some help. 1) I plan on Dyno-Matting the interior. When I go to install the carpet, should I glue it to the Dyno-Mat? The reason I'm asking this is that when I plan on doing the stereo system, I want to get a rear speaker box and I want to hide all the speaker wires. 2) Has anybody ever thought about redoing a center console in either fiberglass or wood? One of my goals for my car is to have a comfortable touring car that I can drive throughout Northern CA. I was thinking of replacing the stock steering wheel with one made of mahogony (same with the shi…

I removed those interior dog leg trim panels with the chrome accent strip that are found just forward of the rear wheel housings to do some work. They are installed with the same clips which are used for the door trim panels. On the door panels, the receiver holes for these clips use a cap shaped like a thimble with a lip which are pushed into the hole in the metal door frame. My car is a '70 Z, and my question to the forum is, to install these dog leg trim panels, were these thimble shaped caps used, originally, to receive the clip fasteners on the trim panels when installing these dog leg trims? Mine were installed without the use of these caps but it would seem re…

My masonite door panels are not restorable. I have looked and searched to find replacements without any luck. I think after a lot of work i have a pattern to cut my own. I will be making them out of sintra ( 1/8" pvc sheet material) I know someone that will be cutting this pattern on his cnc router. If any are interested i will keep you up to date on how it working.
