Is there more than one antenna switch location for a 71 240Z? Mine has the switch located above the heater box, but in my search for a nice radio, I've run across some that apparently have the switch to the right of the station knob, and others with the switch over the station knob like the later cars? How do you tell which one is correct? John

Who has their heater panel out of the car? I'm getting ready to put the heater control back in the yellow car, but I'm missing one control cable. I plan to make a new one out of an old choke cable, but I need to know the length. The one I need is the one with the loop end that goes to the big flap in the heater box. How long is the cable itself, and how long is the sheath? Can anyone help?

I wish I could keep my original wheel as-is, but I just don't enjoy steering with that thin wheel. Spoiled by various (thick) Momos and newer OEM wheels. Someplace, maybe Too Intense, lists a leather wrap that they say is somehow custom for the Z wheel. Is anybody using it? What about after-market wood wheels? There are some terrific-looking Nardi wheels available (thicker). But the spokes don't have the receding, dished shape found on the Z wheel. So I wonder if it would end up too far from the driver? Or maybe the hub for those wheels is deeper. Thanks for any ideas, Steve 1973 240Z

Hey, I am looking for the thing that holds the sunvisors in place. During my restore, I lost mine, I guess. I can not find what it looks like and I do not have a good sence as to what to look for. I have tried ebay, motorsport and my local junk yards. Please help

Bought some dynamat substitue from McMaster carr and have been installing it. Goes in great and forms well to conturers. I have a question though for anyone that may have used something like this. On something like a door where would you put it for best effect? I think that if I put it under the interior skin it won't fit right because of the thickness of the dynamat. The inside of the doors was coated years ago and is rough, I don't think the mat will stick to it. Any suggestions?

I just got my 72 back from the body shop (5 months) and I forgot how the weatherstrip goes in the car. I pulled the old stuff out for the complete paint job and purchased new strips for both doors from Blackdragon. Does anybody have a diagram on how it should be glued to the car?

On the drive to work this morning, I was thinking that maybe I should look into replacing the various dash bulbs on my '71 with LED's. I know other people have done this modification, and wondered if anyone could tell me how many bulbs I will need, and what type. Also, does anyone know what type of bulb the map light uses? Not looking for anything ricey. I am thinking white bulbs, or possibly green for the gauges, hopefully in an inverse pattern. I'm at work this AM and don't have my FSM handy.... I've already converted most of the exterior bulbs to LED's and that has worked out very well.... Thanks for any tips!

On my 280Z- when you move the function lever for the heater, is it supposed to 'click' into the different stops for the different modes? ( vent, heat, biLevel, recirc) I think my controls are missing some kind of spring-loaded thing. It would help to have a pick of the thing to maybe make the part- no help from the microfiche or FSM on this. thx

seems as tho I remember reading a post about someone with a lose and sloppy turn signal, this is what worked for me. I first ran a #31 drill thru the signal mount running it thru with the arm in place, then I ran a 6/48 tapper tap thru the first part thru the arm and most of the way thru the bottom,I do that so it tightens down without compressing the arm so it will move freally.Worked like new when done. You may have to substitute another small tap, size 6/48 are used mostly for gunsmithing
