An interesting item has just been posted on Ebay. I am not sure if they are selling set of each color or what??? I will fire off a question to the seller. The seller has "0" transactions, which is always a cause for concern. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110048314332&fromMakeTrack=true I finally have the name for my interior color: Parchment.

The light in the roof of my car works, but the switch part is broken so it is either always on, or always off. Looks like I'll need to get a new one. Can anybody point me to the best source? Thanks! Astro

Here are a couple of pics of the stock seats we are redoing. My future father in law (aka ZZ72) made this seat cover today. We are going to weld in some round bar support to go inside the foam on both sides to add support. We are also going to add more foam there and to the lower lumbar area so the seat will "hold" you in more. I think it came out great as he has never tried any type of vinyl sewing or car seat covers. Thought you all might want to check it out. Its a lotchaeper than aftermarket seats or stock recovers...plus we get to make the seats into the shape we want.

I was trying to decide how to seal up the floor holes since my rubber plugs are shot . I wanted something atleast semi- permanent and I came across this idea that I thought I would share. These dust covers are for breaker boxes and they fit very tightly in the floor. You need to squeeze the tangs a little to get it started in the hole, and a few wacks with the hammer . It winds up being a very tight fit ,and then if you want, you can bend the tangs flat to make sure it stays put. Of course you will want to use some kind of sealant to complete the job. The plugs can be found at any home improvement store for about 35 cents each.

I am ready to buy carpet for my 72 240Z. What vendor offers the best quality? I have seen several new sets offered on ebay but I don't feel comfortable going that route. Any suggestions? Thanks Robert

I'm going to take the seats out of my 280Z over the winter and fix up the carpeting. I don't think the carpet was put in right because it goes up the side & is tucked under the sill plates, and it's just stuffed up behind the heater/radio and looks really bad. Also, there isn't anything under the seats. Does anybody have a picture of how the carpet is supposed to look under the seats or around the back of the radio? I think I will also cut the carpets along the rockers, and add the vinyl side pieces & whatever goes under the seats. How do you think it would look if I left out the carpet from in front of the driver's seat and instead put in a rubber floor m…

Hi guys, I've decided to change my Zed's interior, because the original plastics were showing signs of wear and were simply to tough to clean up - it seem that the previous owners left it as-is from the factory. I heard that there is someone who makes reproduction plastics, vinyl and those funny rivets, but I don't know if it's true or not. Maybe I should search for such kits on eBay? Any piece of advice would be great. Thanks in advance, Tony.

Well, I ordered my catalog from Auto Dragon a few days ago. Once it gets here, I am going to be highlighting parts that I am going to purchase and get shipped out to California. I was looking through their .pdf catalog and noticed that they had dash cover replacements. Now I have three cracks on my dash and I would like them fixed, though it isnt a must need. Though I am wondering if these glue on dash replacement things are any good. Good quality, not noticeable after installation, does it make the dash look weird and all the dash componets look like they are going more into the car?

hole in the dash was for. This is a 9/71 that was an automatic with A/c. I have no idea what might have been there if someone can tell me.

Has anybody got a tidy way of getting a speaker wire from the console to the very rear of the car? I can use what's there for the one (though not ideal) but am putting in a second over where the fuel lines are. Would rather not just have it lying under the rear carpet. Also -- anybody have a good place to put a toggle switch to operate the stock antenna? Appreciate it, thanks. Steve
