Good evening to you all I would like to ask a big favor from someone who has a rear speaker box, do not care if home made or not, IF you could post the measurements for us that are NOT so good with carpentry work :stupid: When I got my 280zx it did not have the back panel. Thanks Jim

After sitting in my friend's Expedition with Seat ventilation system, I got hooked! Those things were great and made me almost not need AC! I got to thinking about whether this can be retrofitted into the Z seats, especially since I'm redoing the upholstery and foam in the next couple of months. Need some info on seatbelt options. I did some searching but didn't find much. The car is a 1972, will be a daily driver, auto-cross, some track days. What are options for seat belts for this year car? We would want at least a shoulder strap. I also looked at the Scroth web site and liked their stuff. I have been a passenger in a cobra mustang that used them and they worked very well. The problem is the stock Z seats, they don't have openings or a headrest that the Scroth set use. We are rebiulding the stock seats and doing our own upolstering. I thought about fabbing some holes during the rebiuld. Any info would be a great help. Thank you, Thomas

I won those blue OEM seat covers that were on EBay recently. They do have some odd staining in a couple of spots. I want to try scrubbing it off first, but if that doesn't work I will have to use SEM on them. Has anyone out there used SEM on seat covers? What kind of results did you get? Did it hold up? Rub off? TIA, Marty

these little buttons holding the panel around the small rear window are giving me trouble. some have the center misssing and they come right out, but they dont really help to hold the panel on very much. there are some with the center still in, and i cant figure out how to get these out. i tried prying one off, but it broke. can anyone help me out? thanks

Has anyone used the seat reupholstery kits with velour inserts that MSA and Z-Specialties sell? I was told by Z-Specialties that the velour makes the seat cooler in the summer and warmer in winter, but that might have been salesman-talk. Anyone know if it was offered as an option in new S30's?

I have a full Dash Cap (plastic) and it doesnt seem to fit real well. I'm going to need 6 hands to hold the whole thing in place till the silicone dries. Is this how they all are or do I have a defective cover. First time installing a full cover.

I have an early 70 Z and the driver's window is pretty sloppy . I want to install the window pressure roller and cannot find the right location on the interior of the door. Does someone have a picture of the right location, or could someone explain exactly where it is located on the door? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what year these seat recliners would have originally come on? They were in my late '71 parts car (4/71). I think I'll put them in my Series 1, even though they're not really correct, because they seem much more convenient.

Hello everyone I am new to the 240z world. Just purchased a 72 automatic with a/c removed and lost by old owner's wife duting the cleaning of their garage sale. The Z needs quite a bit of tlc in all departments. Planning on replacing as much as I can afford over time. A catalog from Black Dragon parts came with the car. Some prices seem high. Other than e-bay are there other suppliers out there I could contact? Looking foward to my new hobby. Cool car!
