   Too Intense Restoration

   has anyone ever used any of the interior reproduction pieces that too intense restoration sells? I was looking at their carpet kits, seat re-upholstery kits, and sunvisor kit. I really like the original design of the interior pieces, and want an exact reproduction. Also, I noticed that TIR only has the full black door skins, and I have black interior with grey diamond vinyl, so I need to get the door skins that are grey in the middle and have black as trim. Anyone know where to get reproduction diamond vinyl as well?

   I have just received a third Series 1 ashtray assembly, and noticed that this one is slightly different than the other two(the lid handle is different in appearance and attatchment). I have misplaced my camera, but I will post pictures as soon as I find the dern thing! Anyone else noticed any variation? Will

   I did a search and eiter can't find it or its not there, I'm sure its there someplace but like i said couldn't find it, any way......Do the interior body panels from a 280z fit in a 240z?? specifically quarter window panels????? but also all the other pieces??? the 280z is a '78 and mine is a '72.

   Does anybody know the proper way to remove/disassemble the pull-knob type hazard/4-way flasher switch on my '73? I broke the last one trying to get it out when trying to install a full-face dash cover (that didn't even fir correctly). Now I have a replacement, but I don't know the correct way to remove the knob without braking it so I can install the switch behind the dash, then attach the knob in front.... anybody? anybody? :-D ___________________________________________________ DISREGARD - I finally figured out that there's a spring clip in the knob itself. Push in about 1/8" and turn counterclockwise a quarter-turn and it pops off. Too had Haynes, Chilton's and Humble…

    Aftermarket steering wheel hub

    I've got a Nardi hub marked "N6" which I thought would fit the Z - unfortunately the opening for the steering shaft is too small... There's plenty of hubs available for more modern Nissans, but does anyone know with which cars our 240Zs share steering shaft diameters/splines? 240SX? 300ZX? Thanks, -e

    Seller has three items that are difficult to find. This, Item number: 8041914254 is a throttle control knob.( He's calling it a choke cable knob) He also has the rounded choke knob and a longtail fuse box (looks good) on his other auctions. Happy bidding.

    I just made a handshake deal for some original 240Z seats (thanks ZMAN!), so my Recaro Trophy seats will be sold. They are still in the car, and I have not yet taken delivery of the new seats, but I wanted to see if anyone was interested. I have attached a pic for reference. I see a set on eBay going for about $210, so anything in the ball park I will consider. These seats are in very good shape.
