I was wondering if anyone has used a different automatic shifter handle in a Z other than the standard "T" handle? I'm looking for something that makes it look more like the manual shifter that will interchange without modifications for my 73 Z. I did a search and saw a thread that had Tomohawk using a handle out of a dodge but it didn't give much details. Anyone use anything else? Greg

In a recently aquired 72-280...that had been garaged for 20 years !!!!!......I have a severe mildew odor and residue on all of the interior. Seats will probably be removed and replaced...but carpet and interior vinyl is in great shape...just smells. Any tips for cleaning/deodorizing would be appreciated.

I am going to look at a supposedly "perfect" dash. He did say that there is red overspray on it though. Doesn't sound so perfect, does it. So, is there a good way of removing red overspray on a dash without harming the already fragile vinyl? TIA, Marty

Has anyone here retro-fitted airconditioning to their z? What was your opinion about the way it looked / operated? Can you use most of the parts from a 260 to do it? Any info appreciated..

neat... Always wondered what was supposed to fit between the choke light and the defroster rocker (which this car apparently didn't have...) http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r13517145

If anyone is interested, a fellow by the name of Gary Booker has a few NOS AMCO black floormats for the 240Z. I just got a set for my 71. They have Datsun on them and are like new in the original packaging. I got them for $125.00 including shipping. The website is gbspares.com, phone number to call is listed.

I have a really nice reproduction center console (fiberglass) that I intend to use in place of my original console (still in decent shape). Anyhow, I was considering looking into having reproductions made using ABS instead of fiberglass. The benefits are obvious and would be acceptable to all but concourse entrants. Before I go any further I'd like a show of hands of those interested in availability of this item...that is assuming the cost is within reason to have them produced.

I have looked at a lot of sites that sell carpet kits for my 260z. I am wondering if the 5pc set is better than the complete set that is formed? I have never done this before so I am not sure the pro's and con's for each. Thanks, Rick

Hi all, Has anyone heard of or done a swap with Skyline R34 front seats into a 260Z, or Subaru WRX seats. Thanks, Al.

I removed my headliner, a pillar and top of windshield vinyl. They need to be replaced and im looking for replacements. Does anyone know where I could find them? Victoria British has a full vinyl kit but I planned on having my transmission tunnel and shock towers carpeted. If I cant find it anywhere else... would anyone be interested in buying the transmission tunnel and rear stuff for the normal price that just those are sold for? Also how much do interior shops run for if they put it my carpeting and headliner stuff? Thanks
