Hey guys, I sent you an email I think a week ago or something saying they were in the process of clearing customs in Long Beach and I needed added funds to cover the COD return freight charge. Well now I've just got a message that they will be delivered at my place tomorrow & I have to come up with a $1417 check upon delivery... I don't know about you guys but my savings have never been that hot and this is just about going to clean me out until the next paycheck. Folks, I've been searching archives till I'm blue in the face, and I now need to ask for your help. I'm trying to find a set of OEM seats that will work in my '75 280Z. The mounts apparently sit higher than in the 240, so the usual seats used there are too tall for the 280. I test fitted a set from a '91 Talon, which work so well in the 240, and they are just flat too tall for me. I'm only 5'9", but I sit tall in the seat when I drive, and my head would be against the roof. Have any of you successfully transplanted seats from another car into your 280? If so, I need to know year and model of donor car, and what you did to install them. I'm asking this as I don't ha…

As opposed to totally restoring the interior to original, which would mean of turning the whole car to original, I think Im just going to make a car with a more modern look. I need a few ideas so I can start sketching and get a general idea of what I want the interior to look like. Im probably going to go for a tan and black interior color scheme. Keep the dash, but get a dashcover due to cracking, and I think I can get some black seats out of a wrecked Miata, and the rest is going to be changed. Thinking so far, make some black speaker or just regular boxes covering the three sides of the trunk area, covering the lower, but not replacing, the rear quarter plastic panels …

Hey all, i am looking for interior parts to suit a 82' 280ZX, the interior is red..... i need: a crashpad with no cracks a driver side seatbelt surround (behind head) little plastic pannel above the ashtray a coin holder (is that what goes there?, below the auto shifter) plese let me know if you have these bits or if you have a 280 in wrecking with a red interior.... thanks, mellow:dead:

Hello all, Newbie here, just purchased an unrestored 1973 240Z from a gentleman in California. While I'm still waiting for the spring warmup to takeover here in Minnesota I'm compiling a list of parts and repairs to bring my car up to driving condition. missing stereo brackets?

i recently bought a 76 280z 2+2, and like any old cars pieces are missing. all the pieces under the a/c control were gone. i managed to find one bracket at a salvage yard, but i think theres more missing. the only one i got is the one that connects to both sides of the center counsol. but it connects to nothing else and i dont see how it could hold a radio, or even how a radio could mount to it. anybody know what peices im missing? thanks.
