   heater removal

   I took out the heater components recently. In doing so I had to cut some hoses that had coolant in them. It looks like one carries the water in and one carries it out. If I just connect these two lines together (making a loop) will that take care of it or should I do something else? Thanks! Matt

   I am in need of the driver's side interior quarter panel in the original 72 red. I can find them in black for replacments, but really don't want to change the color of the entire interior to match. Tried vinyl die before, it tends to scratch if something touches it. anybody have a prts car with the right color? Devin aka 72240Z

   my car was stolen right before i bought it [after the owner got it back] but the lach for the deck lid is missing iv looked every where for one cant find em in good condition. if somebody has or know wear one is.but dont have much money to play with.

   I'm trying to figure out when (and why) the rear parcel shelve was changed from the deep tire well to the shallow tire well and the double decker parcel shelf. This was also the same time the front two tool boxes (behind the rear seats) were covered over and non usable. I had a 75 that had the boxes. I've also seen 75's with no boxes. Was this a California emissions change? Any help would be appreciated?

   I have seriously been considering covering my old interior pieces (Including the cracked dash) in Alcantra. Has anyone ever tried to do anything similar? I like the clean, smooth, look and it would definately help eliminate glare off the dash. The Porsche RUF Turbo has interior pieces in Alcantra (if I remember correctly) and I love it!

   drivers side window is stuck. I took off door panel and see one of the window regulator arms is bent..I would like to replace the regulator assembly as they are fairly inexpensive from Victoria British. How difficult is it to R & R the regulator? thanks for your help RobertH

    hey I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction , I need the handle thats attached on the sliding silver door on the center console of my 1972 240z , and is there supposed to be an ashtray in there?     Hello all. I searched the forums and was unable to come up with a solution I am satisfied with. I just purchased a '71 240z, with lap belts only. I am not willing to take the risk of driving around with lap belts only, especially with family members or my girlfriend in the car. So as a result I am trying to either: A) Replace the lap belts that are 30+ years old and Install shoulder belts Or Replace the whole system with a harness or a new shoulder/lap setup. I read somewhere that the shoulder belt is optional and will clip -onto the lap belt. Can a _new_ set of these be purchased somewhere? I have not found anything.
