Anyone know of a supplier for the 4 pieces of rubber trim (2 per bin) that keep the tool bin lids from rattling when closed. Mine are missing. I'm sure some basic trim could be ordered and cut to fit. Just wondering if anyone knows of a vendor that carries the edge trim or a size that has worked well.

Goodness.. i cant get my windows to roll up evenly. it tilts slightly toward front of car. Also it keeps popping of track on side near quarter window. I have taken everything out, cleaned and put back in tight. ANy advice? I am wondering if something like https://zcardepot.com/products/window-glass-roller-bumper-guide-240z-260z-280z?_pos=14&_sid=b266dadb1&_ss=r would help? I dont see this on my 71 model.

i am still trying to figure out what goes over these sections bottom of the doors. One place told me they knew what i needed and sent whats in the photo, a section of vinyl. I can't believe i simply glue this on though, there has to be something that goes behind it?

I have the 71 240z with series 1 seats, an adjustment knob... Seats were out when i bought car. I am now ready to get them back in. I have seat in with front nuts on. The back nuts are the issue. Taking into account the carpet its virtually impossible to even get one hand underneath to tighten nuts much less two hands. Anybody else have this issue? what did you do? I am contemplating taking off the back rest to see if that will help me a little bit.

What was old is new again! A nice aftermarket Alpine radio was in my car when I purchased it, but I have always want to put an original Hitachi radio back in. Luckily for me, a buddy of jfaseries1 , Scott M moved here and I was able to work a deal with him for one of his spare radio's. After recently working on some of Zup's early radio's, and with the nice weather here of late, I got the bug to get it installed. Tested, refreshed & cleaned the radio up, removing the corrosion they all seem to have on the top plate. Then, with the schematic & a new 6 pin male connector, (thanks for sourcing that for me Zup) I was able to return the wiring to factor…

I found a replica grip for the Datsun roadster parking brake handle. Does anyone know how similar this might be to the one for the 240z? I can’t find any good photos to do a comparison. I was told the inside diameter of the replica grip is 17.5 mm, which is close to the OD of the lever tube. Could work.

Replacing the interior of my 280z once it’s done getting painted. I might have to replace the floor panel on drivers side. Passages I’m not sure. If I don’t have to replace the passengers side floor panel is it worth removing all the sound deadening and replacing it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is there a way to raise the hat shut lines so that I don't have to keep slamming the hatch to close it? I have an OEM seal on it and have had it for a while and still seem to have to slam the hatch. Is my hatch adjusted incorrectly?

I recently purchased the molded foam insert from the Z store. I am having trouble with it fitting properly at the arm rest area. It seems to be too narrow in this area. If you pull it over to fit over the armrest on one side then it pulls away from the other side. Anybody else have this problem. If so what did you do to make it work. Looking for suggestions.
