I posted a review in the Product Reviews section for future searches there, but since I don't know how many people look at the reviews section, I thought I'd also post a quick shout here as well. I bought a pair of black sisal floor mats from www.cocomats.com and could not be more pleased. Hand-crafted in South Carolina, these are some VERY nice mats. Very heavy duty (they weigh 7+ lbs. each), great materials and fit, non-slip backing, nice heel pad, etc. I really don't see much of anything that I'd want to change - they are that good. I highly recommend them.

I have a few interior panels with cracks so I broke out the epoxy and fiber tape to reinforce the back... For the warped parts of the panels I stabilized the crack with clamps. I used release paper over the patch so the clamps don't stick while the glue dries. Lots more little cracks to do but so far my test piece seems to be stiff enough for interior panel duty.

OK, I've been looking for some time now for who does the best dash restoration. However I hear little about the more expensive company, Just Dashes, besides they do them. This might not be bad since most people wright about how bad their dash fit from other companies or how cheap they got it done for. The thing I liked is they replace the foam, while others companies seem to fill in the cracks and re-vinyl over the top. One of the big reasons foam-vinyl dashes crack is the foam gets old and shrinks. My concern is how accurate to original are their dashes? It would be nice to hear from someone from the Z community who has had them do their dash give us an honest rev…

I'm looking to replace the door seals on my 71 restoration. Motorsports offers a one-piece seal. Has anyone used this door seal or do you have suggestions of what works best? Show me some pics if possible. Thanks Guy

I was going to buy a new steering wheel for my Z but the newer ones are smaller diameter and for a tall person they block the speedo and tach. So I sent my old wheel to american-stitches and they restored it to better than new shape, with a little more thickness for padding that I asked for.Stripped it and repainted it also.Turned out great!

Anybody replace the plastic rivots with metal screws in the hatch? I'm really not wanting to put those annoying plastic rivots in again. I guess I really just wanna know, do they work and what size did you use? Thanks all!

I'm looking to see just how far the unit hangs down into the passenger footwell. Can't seem to get a clear answer from either MSA or Nostalgia... Thanks!

I have what i believe to be a dealer installed AC unit on my 71, the compressor is installed on the passenger side and has a hemostat under and slightly to the side of the steering wheel, There are also little pull knobs on either side of the car that I have not seen in another car or maybe I just looked over them in the past, they may go to the unit under the dash. I am doing a resto/mod on the car and I have never like AC so I was thinking about selling it, the compressor checked out good and the evap, and condenser both held pressure. What is something like this worth, if it is worth anything at all I will try to get a picture of the set up tomorrow.

Howdy.. Looking for a heater control panel (driver quality) for a 71.. Nothing fancy.. I would rather go through someone on here to get one than ebay.. You can't tell the condition and people here seem to me much more trustworthy. Willing to pay or trade.. Let me know if I may have something you need.. Thanks
