My buddy bought a '77 280 that came with Libre wheels on it. He didn't like them, so he bought new 17" wheels and tires. I bought the Libre's from him (that also had new tires on them) and had them cleaned up and put them on my '71. They replaced the 4-spoke '78 mags I've had on it since '93. Now I'm period-correct.

I need some info from you guys out there, you have helped me before and I am asking again. Can you put 15inch custom wheels, 4 lug, on a 1973 Datsun 240Z without any problems? Need some help here, and thanks. KirkgZ

Hey all, I'm looking for 16 lug nuts that will fit the '82-'83 280ZX Swastika wheels so I can put them on my 240Z. All the ones I find locally either have a shaft that is too long, or too big around, and will not fit correctly. If anyone has anything they will sell cheap, then please PM me. I'll need to see pictures to make sure they will work. Thanks! Greg

Hi Guys, I have searched and have found differing answers to the original S30 wheel offset, some say -15, some say +15 and others say 0 offset. I have a 1974 260Z with dealer fitted slot mags that are 14' x 6" with 0 offset. When I look at the Datsun workshop manual for a US 280Z, it states that the offset is 15, but it doesn't say if it is + or -. Does anyone know what the standard offset is, or can somebody with a standard wheel measure the backspace and width for me please? Cheers Rob

I have never seen one of these before. What car originally came with them? That is a Datsun logo in the center. Thanks...

Forgive me if this has already been addressed. I have the 82/83 turbo rims on my 78. They are 15" rims. Now it's time for new tires and I wan t to know which of these sizes would handle the best: -195/50/R15 -205/50/R15 I want to switch from my 215/60/R15's. I believe the above sizes would improve the handling. However, I don't want the tires to look too dinky around the rim. Now I know there are other factors at play when it comes to suspension. I also know that brands may also make a slight difference. Honestly I'm looking at Kumhos on Tire Rack since I am on a budget. Oh, and the tires I plan to get must be H-rated. Any suggestions on the sizes would be helpful. …

Hellow everyone, Can someone tell me how I can remove the rear brake drums from the 1975 280Z? The brake cylinder is leaking and I bought the wheel cylinder kits but I cannot pull out the drums. Is there a special tool needed? Are there screws or bolts attached somewhere that I need to take out.?? Please help.!

Hey guys, just changed out the wheel cylinders in my 74 260. I bled the rear and front brakes and took it for a test drive and noticed that the brake light comes on when I apply fairly hard pressure on the brake pedal. For example, I was going about 20 and did a panic stop and it stopped just fine, but the brake light came on for a second. Just inertia/gravity affecting the fluid in the (20+ year-old) master cylinder? --------- Update: When I'm stopped and apply firm pressure (harder than I'd push to just keep it from rolling) the brake light comes on. Then, when the light goes off, the motor revs a couple hundred RPM, then goes back to normal.

Have replaced the rear brake cylinders on my "72. Is there any difference in the way to bleed the rear lines since the cylinders are empty of brake fluid? Do I also need to bleed the front lines since they were not desturbed? And should I adjust the parking brake before or after I bleed the brakes? Thanks.

Hey guys (and gals), I've been looking into updating my wheels recently and hope to do so relatively soon. The problem is, I've had a real rough time finding ones that will fit. I'd like to stay away from spacers, or modifying my stock suspension. I'm currently running a set of old school 14" gold mesh Enkies. I'm planning on keeping them, but would like to update to at least 16, if not 17 inchers. No Watanabes because while I like the look, that's what everyone seems to do (or look-alikes). So I'm hoping you guys could give me some good ideas! I think the wheels will need to have little to zero offset. And they need to have at least 5 spokes. Thanks for the help!
