I don't know much about wheels. I have a 71 240 and want to get a new set of wheels at some point here in the near future and am a little lost. I was wondering what sort of range on sizes do I have. Are 17" wheels a little to big, or if they fit would they rub, now I know that would have to do with the width also which brings me to my next question, how much size to I have to play with in that department. Then the lug pattern, four lugs but what about the offset (I think that is what it is called), or however the lug pattern is measured? I would love some recomendations, and if anyone knows of a good place to buy them at good prices a url would be perfect. Thank yo…

My brakes work great, after I pump them once. Just once is all it takes. I have tried to bleed them several times but the still have to be pumped. Can anyone help me? Frankenstein Z

Hi! I have these on all four and I really want to hang on to them. I believe they came with the car but I'm not sure and the PO wasnt either. First does any one know if these were dealer installed? and Second: Should I paint these the same color as the body or should i stay black. Also, where could i go to have these polished up? We have some wheel and tire places but would a machine shop be better? I'd appreciate any and all suggestions, comments Nick

What tire speed rating are you using, most of the 225x60x14 left are of the "T" rating type, have any toughts about using "T" over "H" tire's rating ? I think that those tires are build with a slight( read big) tolerence, and you? Thanks for your help, as usual, Fred
