Like most people, the soft plastic bushings in my window regulators were shot. I did a lot of poking around but didn't find much. The few I saw required removing the plastic rollers. I did some research and experimentation at home and came up with a cheap and easy replacement. Take a look and let me know what you think. http://ace240z.com/window rollers.html

The 29 car, when I bought it, had a Aviaid Racing 6qt baffled oil pan. It, of course, went with the car when sold. I recently contacted Aviaid to see if they still offered that pan. They do not have any but are willing to make up a batch. They require a downer pan. I have two extra stock pans. Is there any interest in a group buy? Let me know. Thanks

Reproduction headlight covers are being made. I’m hoping to have them for sale in 2 months, depending on how much adjustments will need to be made. It will be $750 in the USA.

I have the original Datsun optional sport mirrors on my 1972 Z they seem to be the same as the "Black Pearl Mirrors" not sure about that. I contacted a vendor about making replacement gaskets for them (between the base and the door). He stated that he has not had anyone ask about them so he does not want to invest in reproducing them, which is understandable. Is there anyone else besides me that would be interested in these parts if they were reproduced? Obviously there has to be a number of initial orders to justify the reproduction of these parts.

How many of you have damaged or peeling chrome off of plastic parts? A good example is the bezel around your tail lights, maybe some badging or interior parts. Well, I was looking the chrome trim on my door panels (I just purchased a set of used door cards) wondering if the chrome plated plastic strips could be repaired and when researching the interweb I stumbled on this product by a company name ALSA. The make brush-able and spray can chrome. I was very skeptical until looking at all the video of people using this product. Looks pretty amazing. When I looked into sending my tail light bezels to be re-chromed they wanted around $150 per light (yikes). Anyway has any…

Hi all, just wanted to introduce you to my 1975 Datsun 280z, who we lovingly call Zella. I acquired Zella about 4 months ago, after looking for a Datsun S30 for more than 1.5 years. She's far from perfect, but she is so much fun to drive. She just got a re-paint (of the original color), had her exhaust replaced with an MSA one, and had her ugly 280z bumpers replaced with some minimal ones. Her wheels have also been replaced to give it that modern touch. Hope you like it. Before This is what she looked like when I first got her. Had to get rid of those ugly bumpers. After And this is what she looks like now. Needs some coil …

So I am wondering about the aux. electric cooling fan for the ('77) 280Z. - Most references call the fan "optional"; any opinions about how frequently 280s went out the Factory door with this fan mounted on the radiator? - Or was the fan more often an after-purchase, dealer installed kind of thing. - And now, the $64 question: exactly where are the two connectors for the fan to be found on the stock harness? Thanks for looking.
