I own a 1986 300zx that I bought 9 years ago and ever since I bought it, I have wanted a 240z. Well just this weekend I was finally able to acquire something that's definitely far from perfect, but something that I can drive and work on and make into something my own! I have attached a link to the imgur gallery below. I am super happy with the car. It's a 1972 240z. It definitely needs some work, but I can't find any rust that's bad. A little bit of surface rust and that's about it. Which is amazing since this is a midwest car lol. The car has been painted at some point in it's life and it shows how old it is. A lot of little scratches in the paint and such. It used to be…

So far I've been only looking at local Craigslist to stay updated on Z prices, with new post alerts sent to my email. But I wonder, is there a better place to find a Z? I am aware of the For Sale and the Internet Finds forums. Problem is that's over the whole US, sometimes Canada, and not only S30s. It doesn't necessarily have to contain only road-ready Zs, as I don't mind learning. I'd love to hear where y'all found your Z. Also, I'd rather it were based in Texas, or someplace close by... Am I asking for too much? PS: I'm not actively looking for one, I just wanna know if I should be watching other markets

I am looking to purchase some replacement sheet metal for my 1970 240Z and was wondering if all the metal out there is manufactured by Tabco and sold by various retailers like Motorsport/The Z Store? If not, what have you found to be the best quality replacement pieces? Thanks!

In the process of rebuilding my 77 280z. Pulled the tank and cleaned out the rust. I am not going to be reinstalling it until at least next year so I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions as to how to store so that it won't rust again.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-toyota-2000gt/ I'm aware of these cars, the story behind Yamaha, what they are and so on. Don't get me wrong, I really like them. But if they were worth the same money as a 240z and two cars were sitting side by side, I think the Z has more visual appeal. That is of course assuming the Z isn't wearing its factory hubcaps.

How does the HVAC fan knob come off? I found the small screws to remove the sliding lever knobs, but can't figure out how that fan control knob comes off. Anybody know how to remove it?

I have been "lurking" on here for almost a year, after doing research for a header/exhaust on this forum I ran across a post that said there was a discount code for MSA. After following the directions given I placed my order and yes there is a discount (approx. 10%). I have ordered parts in the past from MSA but didn't know or ask for a discount, shame on me. Better late than never. On a side note, if any Vendors read this put in your Bio that there are club discounts, you may gain more business that way. Thanks Again CZCC, Mike
