I have noticed a difference between the 75 and 77 ecu's. Same part number but different. The 77 is missing pins and has 2 fins that stick out from the center of the connector

Here are two valances, one is recognizable, the other is not. The brackets on the short one are definitely Datsun, but too short for 240z.

In this topic you can put parts with (real or unreal) high prices people ask these days for Datsun z (and zx?) parts.. Reason is i got a set of 240Z AND 260Z doors… The 240z door set is in still Original black metallic without rust! and the 260z set is with new doorscins (one is on the door already, the other comes with a good door.) (Not complete doors only the metal part, no glass or handles and..and…) One time i askt 600 euro for a door.. i got questions like: are they made out of gold? I'm doing a rotisserie restoration and would prefer to get this regulator restored. I can get the cover and screws re-plated, but does anyone know a place that can restore the rest (re-plate the base while not hurting the electrical parts)?

Does anyone have a closeup photo of left and right chrome strips, removed from the housing? There is a local Metro parts supplier (Kip Motor Co http://www.kipmotor.com/) who will custom fabricate parts. Their craftsmanship is fantastic, priced accordingly. I offer to contact them to determine the feasibility of making the strips. Please vote in the poll if you are interested in a pair.
