As some of you may remember, I have been enlisting assistance in finding Norm from Zeddsaver. Well, you will never guess who called today! Anyway, Norm was called out of the country in March on a family emergency and returned a couple of days ago. He remembered the parts he owes me and is sending them out tomorrow. As I have always said in every post I made looking for him, Norm is a great guy, and I have enjoyed working with him. I'm glad he is okay.

I’m searching for a hand throttle for a 71 240z, we all know these engines are cold natured and I’d love to be able to set a hand throttle vs sitting in the car for 10 minutes while it warms up. Just wondering if any of you guys may have one or have come up with some DIY solutions. Thanks, Tom

Does anyone have experience with getting rid of the Vapor Vent Line / Carbon Canister on a '74 260Z? Can I just cap the line back at the vapor-liquid separator? I'm switching to early SUs with K&W air filters, could I could just run the line into an air cleaner? I'm determined to clean up under-hood and get rid of all the hoses, pipes, coolant lines, air pump and other assorted BS that I don't believe worked well or for long in the first place! Any suggestions appreciated!

I searched for a solution here, and unfortunately the title is the only way I know to describe it. See pic below: Does anyone have any tips for how to secure the choke cable sleeve in the lever assembly? I thought about JB Welding it, but I don't want to risk getting JB on the cable itself and gumming up the works. Thanks all.

Hello i hope it is permissible to post Wanted Parts in this section. I looked in the Wanted Parts section and it did not appear to be getting much attention. I am looking for a set of Topy steel wheels for my 1972 240z. 2/72 date code or slightly before would be a bonus. Something on the east coast would be nice to reduce shipping costs, although I would not rule others out. I secured a nice set of hubcaps, now I just need the wheels. Thanks Jim

Looks like the Golden Gate looking toward the Marin headlands. Series 1 with a “suit” owner. Hope she’s still purring along!

Hi Guys, First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and the very best health ! I am new here but can already appreciate the overall dynamic and supportive mindset of the neighborhood ! End of May 2020, insomnia hitting, I somehow ended up on BaT at 2am and got my hands on a beautiful 280 Z from April 1976 with its original matching number engine + 1981 280zx 5-speed gearbox (the original 4-speed also came in a box). The car is originally from Nebraska I believe, but transferred to Ohio in 2016. Obviously with COVID-19 and loads of excuses from the transporter (CFR Rinkens - DO NOT recommend), the car reached Dubai (UAE) mid September…

There is a 1970 Datsun 240Z survivor for sale on Hemmings Auctions that went from $0 to $60k in under 24-hours. Can it give the Green Monster a run for the crown??

They have the original grey/cream coloured primer on them. Should I strip them to bare metal or just paint over the top?
