Hello all, Does anyone know where I might begin in my search to track down my family's old 280z? My mother purchased a new silver Z car in 1977 in Utah and kept it until the mid-1980s where it was sold in Kingsport, Tennessee. I remember seeing the car locally well into the mid-1990s when we moved out of the area. I would imagine the car is still in eastern Tennessee if it is still in existence. I am looking to buy the car (if I can find it), do a restoration (I can't believe I am willing to subject myself to yet another restoration!!), and surprise my mother in a few years, if all works according to plan. Anyone know how I could begin my search?? The biggest problem is…

Last week-end I was at Le Mans for the 3rd Le Mans Classic race! Two 240Z on the track and lotta Z&ZX in the club area. What a nice week-end. At first I wasn't supposed to get close to the race car, but as we supplied them with racing parts and even a clean shell from California, they called on us when the car started to act weird... That was too early in the week-end to presume anything good for the next days coming; it was after all only Friday night! The team is French, and they are already racing 4 240Z in rally events, bur a track car is an all new game for them. They where lucky that one of the best Z specialist in Europe was with us for the week-end. So Dave …

Hey guys im selling alota Z parts still. I have an L24 engine and tranny titled as 50k miles and reads the same on the dash that i have aswell. I have all the drivetrain except a couple suspension components. The body is totally chopped up but if u want it u can take that aswell. Anyways there is alot of miscellaneous stuff that i can list if interested.. If anyones interested in the lot im asking 400/bo for ALL of it. All parts are from a late production 1972 240z. Hey guys, This is my first car I've ever worked on. Im 20 yrs old going to Cal Poly. Bought the car in November 2005. Its a 3/74 260z. Didn't run good, flat tops, suspension was gone, brakes were gone, and the paint was faded and oxidized. How does she sound? Habvent looke duner his car at the tank but does the 73 have an electric AND a mechanical fuel pump? If so has anyone tried to run on just the Electric. N47 head no milled for mechanical.

I'm thinking about putting a 12 sub in my spare tire well. What I would like to do is install the speaker in wood and screw in down in the well. I would also install sound deadening. Has anyone done this and what is the Sound quality . Or would it be better to build a box to fit down in the speaker tire well and.
