Alan, Miles, & whomever else might now... Do you happen to know when the NostalgicHero car show/swap meet is scheduled for this spring? From years past I remember it being in Nagoya? I would like to attend if the dates work out in my favor. My local Japanese bookstore no longer carries the magazine so I don't know when it's scheduled for. I'll be in Japan the last week of April. Thanks for the tip, -e

I don't like posting a classified in the regular part of the club, but I would like to see these Z car things find a new home rather than end up gone. See respective photos below: 1) A good condition, no cracks or problems Dash Cap. I upgraded to a full cap, so this is just taking up space. $40 shipped via USPS Priority Mail. 2) How to Restore a Z Car by Wick Humble and Hanes Repair manual. Both were free to me with a Z purchace, but I have both of them. They are WELL USED, but only $5.50 for both to cover shipping. 3) Factory Service Manual for a 75' 280Z dealing with the engine components only. It's page copies put into a binder. I don't know if it's complete (I alr…

I have been using the CD to locate parts for my restoration, but one page is missing on my copy of the z-car CD. In the Electrical sub-section, page 55-4 is obliterated and I am assuming all the other CDs came out the same way. Does anyone have a good copy of this page that they would be willing to post for me to copy? Thanks for any help. There is one other question I have tried to get an answer for about this CD but, in the past, got no response. Maybe someone could help. In one of the last columns of this CD the heading is "ICA" and beneath this are two sub- columns labeled "N & F". Down in the parts list these columns will either have a "Y" or "N" and sometimes…

Hi all, havnt posted here for a good long time. I thought I would just update you all on my project '75 260Z 2+2. Bodywork is just about all done, just another rub back and then i'll start painting. 904 'Moonstone' White. Quick B/G: I bought the car for AUD$88 last year regoed and running(poorly). Since then i gave it a tune up and balanced the carbs. And have slowly been stripping it back to bare metal for a respray. The paint was cracked right back to the metal so it was the only way. It was also full of rust! I have cut some out and killed the rest. It owes me maybe AUD$1200 now, and thats after a front air dam, new shockies, another door, paint etc. It was by no mea…

ok so i have a 1971 240z in my possession it was manufactured 9/70 from the tag on the door. my uncle modded it for racing but died in a car accident (nonracing related) before he finished it. my other uncle took the car and kept it in his garage for about 10-11 years and just let it sit, didnt drain the fluids or anything. my question is: what should i do to get it running again? im not familiar with the car and have no idea where to start. i would think replacing all the fluids, seals, and hoses would b a good start but im completely clueless. thanks for any advice you guys can give me. - mike

All original, except the paint, wheels and who knows what else. Is it me or do you just want to scream or thump someone's head when you see this? WHAT is "All Original" about a repainted Z with the wrong wheels? In addition it has a direct quote from ZHOME (Mr. Beck?) imbedded in the ad with no credit to its author or source. Feel like bombarding them with emails and ask what it means when ad ad says "All Original" and the description says originally "mustard green". OK through venting now, will crawl back into my dream world where people understand what "original' actually means. http://…
