Some of you might have noticed i disapeared for a while. Reason being that me and my dad had some diffrent opinion on what the end result of our 240z would be. He wanted the all original thing going on and i wanted a mildly tuned modernized z. we came up with one solution......Im getting another z. :cross-eye well now we got two projects going on. my dads original 240z and my all out assault on a 260 i picked up. The 260 i picked up already had a 280z FI engine and 5 speed transmission. Plans for this one will be a small block chevy, so you guys wont hear much about this one. Ill be more on hybridz.org for that car. i know you guys dont like the word v8 and z in the same…

I recently did a complete restoration on my '71 Z. I removed the tank and painted it. I reinstalled it with all new hoses and clamps. I filled it up a couple of days ago and it started leaking. I drove it 35 miles and it stopped leaking. It seems to be coming from the driven side and running down the seam and dripping onto the floor. Anyone have any ideas on where this tank is leaking? I have not been under it to see if I can find the leak. Just looking for some info before I started looking.

Hello, I need to get my early 260Z to the shop for final paint and it will need to be towed or on a trailer. I have the front suspension in except brakes. The rear suspension is in except diff. and brakes. No motor or trans. Would it be safe to tow her using a car dolly on the front and staying on city streets? Thanks for your input. Skip

I am looking for a place to buy some AN Fittings that don't cost $15 a piece like at the local auto store. I found this place http://www.sweetperformance.com/ and they seem pretty reasonable but is there others out there?
