I would like some suggestions for an MP3 player... the Ipod mini & nano are very nice. I'd go with the mini because the display is bigger (easier to read while driving). Others I'm aware of are the Creative Zen, and RCA Lyra 2300 series. My criteria: PLAYLISTS (up to 20 tracks, minimum, EACH) 1 Gb memory (keeps price relatively low) replaceable and/or rechargeable battery (Alkaline, MiMH, or NiCd ) "big", easy to read display (while bouncing around in a car) easy-to-use controls(for menu navigation) 1/8 inch mini-jack for connection to radio (or portable amp/speakers) FM tuner (option- nice for portability) microphone and voice recording Adju…

Well guys, I finally found the Z 4 me. I am soooooo stoked! I have wanted one of these since I was 16yrs old and I just turned 40. I just picked it up tonight. It's a 73' with 78,000 original miles purchased from the original owner, who bought the car new from the dealer in 1973 when HE was 40yrs old. This car has been very well cared for. It looks like it has been in a time capsule for the last 20yrs or so. No rust to be found on the body and only surface rust on the underbody. Unbelievable! I'm going to have lots of questions! Here's a pic. There's more at the URL below. Click here for more pics of my new 1973 Datsun 240Z

Hi guys, Theres several references in this site to www.datsunprojects.org . One is for paint colors, another is for Hitatchi carb diagrams. Every time I click the links, I get a "timed out trying to connect to..." error. I have used InternetExplorer, and Firefox for browsers. One time several months ago I got on to look at the paint chips, but havnt been able to connect since. Is there some trick? Is that site down? Thanks again for the input, Zak

I have 3 Zs that I am needing to give up. The yellow one is a 1971 (late) 240Z complete and assembled. Needs some TLC. The red one is a 1972 240. Is is the bigger project. I has visions of placing the drivetrain from the 280X into it to get it finished. The last one is a 1978 280Z parts car. The frame is bent in the front, but it starts. (fuel leak) I got this to be the donor for the other 2 projects. I also have MANY parts to go along with this. Ask many questions and I have many pictures and can take more. All roll and have decent tires. You will need a dolly or trailer to haul these all off. I have them listed here in the classefieds forum. Bryan btatem@charter.net

I'm rebuilding my 260z 2+2 and removed the carpet on the passenger side and discovered rust in a few spots. I suspect that the panel will have to be replaced based on what I saw! Being a 2+2, is there a panel for the 12 inches behind the seat rail and can I buy just one panel and not two sides. Thanking you in advance!!

I've got a pair of MSAs 280Z vinyl side stripes in black that the PO bought when the car was yellow. Since they painted it grey, the black won't show up so well, and I'm not interested in respraying the car. If anyone's interested in them, I'd love to trade for a Datsun hood emblem. The PO lost it last time the car was painted and the holes haven't been filled. Anyone that's interested, let me know. -Kelly

Hey all i was wondering what is a reasonable price for some new fiberglass fenders of unknown manufacture? I know that smoothline makes a side for 325 a piece but i hear their quality is superb. I also know there are a few more manufactures. Just wondering what i should offer for some new fiberglass fenders of unknown manufacture. Thanks

Z Gang, After spending many months researching different toy haulers our choice was the 2005 Fleetwood 30' triple axle 300FS GearBox trailer to haul our Z in. Our Z is lowered so a low ramp angle was very important for clearance. 16’ of clearance from the rear tailgate to the permanently mounted cabinet plenty of room for a 240. With the triple axle 240 weights is no problem. We have 14’ of living area in the GearBox even when the car is in. The back cargo area is not a waste when the car is out, lots of upper cabinets, fold down couches (2 double beds) and two motor controlled queen size beds fills the area nicely for more sleeping area if needed. Other cool things…
