THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FINALLY. The Z is back on the road! After sitting in my driveway/woods/garage for 8 years, I drove it to work today. I noticed that it took about 1/2 tank of gas to go 10 miles. Not very good mileage. I spotted a hole one of the fule lines attached to the tank. I think its the hose to the reserve tank. Its not spewing so I guess I can drive home. Nice. I guess I will get a hose on the way home. The carb adjustment really had me for a few days. I couldn't find a flow meter so I tried listening to the pitch of a hose placed next to the air intakes. I figured I can tune a guitar by ear - I can tune a dual carb by ear. Didn't work.…

Well as i was workin on my Z today i realized she's close to paint. I havent put to much thought into what color so i figured i would see what everyone here has to say. Im open to all opinions, pictures, color codes or w.e. Im an amateur painter and i plan on doin it myself so dont make it to hard on me but give me a challenge. Lets hear these ideas!

Two 1970 240z's for sale, one in good condition the other for parts. Good one's vin number is #HLS30-14783 with 79500 miles on it. The engine has been rebuilt, chrome wire spoke wheels, about 70% done. The parts cars vin is #HLS30-2018 with 109020 miles on it. The engine has also been rebuilt and has lots of good parts inside and out. I have tons of parts im not going to use. Here is a list of parts that i am getting rid of. Dashboard. Has one Crack and to rips just above the glove box. Can be repaired. Heater control panel in great shape. tail light asseblies. Rear hatch with glass in good shape. Bumpers Are repairable but not in great shape. side marker lights (i think) in fair shape. I have a feiw gauges But dont know witch ones im putting in my car. Grill in fair shape. L26 dissasimbled ready for rebuild. No intake or carbs. Can anyone recommend a good car cover for the Z? My Z will be parked outside under my carport and I want to keep it as protected as possible. I live 3 blocks from the ocean in a fairly foggy area. I'd like to keep moisture out and prevent it from getting trapped inside as well. Suggestions, comments?
