   Dyno'd my 280 on a Dynopack 1 2

   So i dyno'd today and my best run was 147hp@5459rpm and 151ft/lb@4524rpm with 46psi @ WOT then my friend who owns the shop, who is also a really good tuner, Told me that i should lower my fuel pressure and im currently running 24psi @ idle and 34psi @ WOT. That got me 144.2hp@5347rpm and 148.6@5082rpm My setup: 60mm tb, stock EFI, Crane XR3000 ignition with a PS91 coil, MSA 6-1 header, k&n cone filter, 2.5in straight pipe through a magnaflow 2.5in turbo muffler, stock 3.54 diff, early 5 spd and timing @ 12 degrees BTDC I was also told that i should advance my time few more degrees. I plan to run 14 or 15 degrees BTDC

   Hi everyone I've had a bit of a look around on the internet but at the moment there just doesn't seem to be a whole lot of retro Datsun stuff. I want to design a website on my 240z and it's restoration progress. The theme of this site is an old skool Datsun approach. I want it to have that old feel like that feeling you get when you see a Classic Muscle car parked next to a vintage fuel pump or Coca Cola sign. So i guess i would like it if people could post old advertising material. However if anyone knows what FONT Datsun was using in the 70's that would be even better. If you post pictures I can trace them using Adobe illustrator and increase their size from there. So a…

   The car that I am interested in has tinted windows !!!! I am not a real fan of tinted glass on a 240Z But on this car it does not look bad !! I guess Florida cars need it to help keep some heat out !!! Did anyone ever try to remove tint !!! What do other club members feel about tinted glass on a 240Z ????

   There were 3 Datsun Z-cars at this year's Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in Scotsdale, AZ that took place last weekend. The '72 went way too cheap for a full restoration. Selling a car with no reserve can be very risky! I don't think the people who attend & bid on cars at the Barrett-Jackson auctions are ready for Zs yet and Zs are ready for the Barrett-Jackson auction yet either.    i've located someone who wants to sell parts from a 70/240z vin#403, manufacture tag 403 nov 69.he has six boxes of stuff, mostly small parts for $200.($160 U S ) i wrote down the list over the phone hastily.(might of missed some parts) what i want to know is, are these parts more unique because they're from a low vin # or not. maybe 26th-Z can answer this question, also is there such thing as hatch glass without defrost wires? p.s. the car was a rust bucket,hence he keep parts.

   I have a 84 dautson 280zx and I am looking to get rid of it. It was a project car. It has a rebuilt turbo motor in it and a 5 speed transmition in it. All the gages are digital.
