Well I have my new Z finaly. I had been looking for one for a while and made a deal for this one http://www.geocities.com/ellencardona@sbcglobal.net/Pictures/Z/ . I traded a camera and some cash for it. It was a nice car at one time but needs a little love to get it back to good a really nice condition. But he has already done a lot to it. It has the triple webbers, header, almost all bushings, exhoust, swaybars (geting the front one fixed and the back one is the good one that mounts to the dif housing and not the body. Also has the alternator upgrade, electric fans, 3.83 gears I believe, short shifter, centerforce clutch and preasure plate, and came with a kevlar racin…

Has anyone here tried these turbonators ? I thought they looked interesting and wondered if they really make a difference in fuel economy or performance.

Hi, Can anyone tell me when and where the National Z-Car convention is held? All I know is that it is sometime in September and is in one of the Northeast states. Thanks, Bonnie

Watch out around Philadelphia, please. I was hit by a car while biking to work Monday morning. I'm doing fine, but my bike is ruined, I'm sore something fierce, and I've been real spaced out. I wasn't wearing a helmet, flew about 20 feet, and to have no broken bones, no cuts or scrapes, and no visible bruises after a classic "This is why you wear a helmet" collision....really odd. Can't wait to go home tomorrow and work on my Z, though.

1979 280Z (Japanese New with ZX features) for sale in Queenstown,New Zealand. Best offer gets it. I've owned this car since 1990. A year ago it failed a WOF on rust under the door sill. Have had all the rust professionally removed and at the time we found the front rt guard was beyond repair. Managed to get a brand new guard ex Australia. Car is now registered and has WOF. I haven't repainted it yet, and the interior needs a bit of work. I have a business car now and unfortunately I a. don't have the room to store my 280z and B.hardly ever use it now. So for a good (Fully running) doer uper in the South Island of NZ contact me. Dave

Hello all, I took off the climate control faceplate to figure out why I wasn't getting any heat in my car. It turns out that the wire that attached to the defrost/room slider was not working and therefore wouldn't allow any heat unless it was on the defrost side. I changed postitions and now I have a great gush of heat. Anyhow, now that I have to put it back together I need a little help. The tubing that goes around a couple of my wires are in horrible shape. Where would I get more of that tubing? Is this something that is universal, to an extent, and I could get at a car parts store? Has anyone found a method for fabricating something at home? If somebody has an o…

I am rebuilding an F54 lower end and will use an E31 head. The timing chain sets have different part numbers for the 240 and 280 motors. I know this is a common installation so perhaps someone can tell me what they used for the timing set. Thanks Bob M 72 240z

Hi Guys, I have imported a structurally solid 1971 240Z from California to the UK to have the firewall replaced with a RHD one and for the car to go through a total bare shell restoration, literally nut and bolt at a time from the ground floor up. The car will have an Edelbrock Performer SBC installed running 420BHP through a beautiful NISMO 3.9 LSD (courtesy of Alan, HS30-H) My question is a plea for history .......... Does any know of this car or remember it ? Has anyone owned it ? I would love to be able to track it from the dealership through each and every owner to myself - the intention is to document everything for a complete restoration and rebuild history. F…
