Finally found the hand-throttle I had been looking for. Not only got the part, but it is a brand-new, in the bag Nissan choke/ hand throttle assembly with all cables and knobs! Yeah!

After washing my Zed, I find that I have a pool of water in the passenger footwell. Tracing it is fast becoming a major PITA. It's not the heater core as I have bypassed that at the block It's not a leak in the winscreen rubber as I have run silicon along it. The only thing I can think of is maybe water is coming in from the airvent grill between the bonnet and windscreen. I've had a look up under the footwell and noticed a right angle rubber hose which could be a drain from the airvent? Is this what it is? No water is coming from that though. Any ideas/thoughts??? Cheers

Are the 240z and 260z accesories (power steering, air-con etc) interchangeable. If this makes no sence to you, read on. Say I have a bog-standard 1970 240z and a bog-standard 260z. Can I pull the power steering unit or air-con unit off the 260z and put it in the 240z with ease? or will it be easyer to get a custom installation?

I saw a special on the history channel this morning about Z cars. It stated that the Z car gave Nissan its big boost in the sports car division, and today its considered to be a classic and one of the most desirable and sought after cars, along with the Jag and the Porch. NOT BAD, ah!

I suspect my wiper motor is shot. In the process of removing the wiper arm and motor, I found that the rubber boots that protect the wiper arm pivots are perished to the point of no return. Does anyone know if they are still available? Or what else shoudl I use to weather proof the pivots? The location of the boots is hard to explain. They are under where the wiper arms attach to (what ever that little axle is called). They stick up out of the airvent grill. Cheers

I am dropping my fuel tank so I can get it cleaned out and Renewed. My question is do you think I will have enough room to get it out by just putting the car on ramps or should I use jackstands? I don't want to put it on ramps, disconect everything, and then find out I don't have room to get it out. Anyone with any expieriance with this? Thanks for any help! Mark

My 240z has the original driver's door mirror on it, but the mirror section 'flaps' in the wind when driving, as the adjuster is too loose. I can't see any obvious way of stopping this short of buying a new one!!! ( seen how much they are going for on ebay!!!!) I'd be grateful for any help/fixes to get me out of this blurred mirror nightmare. (Is that a car behind me, or a bike, or a house!!!!)

I have done a search,a nd come up with some conflicting answers, I was planning to attach the front of my rotisserie to the bumper mounts (is just a bare shell) but many seem to use the tow hook points, its nearly made at bumper mount stage, will this be ok? Cheers Chris

Hello, I would like to get into drifting and autocross; so which engine swap for my 72 240z would be better and how hard of a job it would be. Thanks.

Though not Z related, this photo from Wrecked Exotics illustrates what can happen when things go VERY wrong. It was a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Collector's Edition. Drive safely brothers and sisters.
