Brakes in my 260 Z (that looks like a 240)

I just bought a 1974 260 Z. it looks identical to the 240 though. Anyways, that has nothing to do with anything. The only problem with it (aside from a bit of rust on the framerails) is that the brake pedal is incredibly squishy. I'm 17, and this is my first car, so I don't know what the problem could be. Can anyone help?

I am rebuilding a 73 Z for show and mostly fun. I bought the aero kit from motorsport auto, glass nose from JC Witney, and fender flares from Victoria British. The fr. flares are great, they come out from the fender in a concave shape. The rear set I am not satisfied with they are a bubble shape or convex. The car hasen't gone to the body shop yet, none of these parts are on. I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that sold the concave style flare for the rear. I had a set like that installed on a 72 Z I had in te 80's so they at least did exist at one time. Motorsport and Victioria B have allways been a great help but didn't have this. Can anyone help?

I was about to order the N-27 needles to use in my 72 carbs. does anybody know which nozzles to use? are stock 72 nozzles compatable? will the 70 nozzles fit/work in the 72 bodies. Im doing this to hopefully get a little more performance out of my L-28/flattop pistons, p-90,n-42 exhaust configured engine?

I ahve a '72 240Z and just picked up a FI 280 engine that looks to be in better shape than my L24. Can I get a wiring harness from an after market vendor, or do I need it to swap engines?

I have a topic I need some global information on. I'm looking at putting on the twin webers (32/36) for my '73 240. The kit they have is the K 688. It has a very long manifold that I've been told is hard to dial in, especially at altitude (6000 ft.) Apparently they no longer make the non CA SMOG approved shorter mainfolds. So what's the deal and what are the options?

Reference Materials - Manuals by, Mike Gholson If you're smart, you'll buy multiple manuals. Don't rebuild your Z-car with only one manual. It was unfortunate for me to find out that some manuals may have a incorrect specifications. In my circumstance, I torqued a ball-joint bolt right off. Upon consulting another manual, I found out that my setting was 10lbs too high! This was not only a shock, but, I had to go order a new bolt. Therefore, here are the manuals I suggest (in order of importance): 1 - Factory Manual Buy this at your local Nissan dealer or you can order it from Courtesy Nissan. 2 - How to Restore Your Z-Car (by Wick Humble) This manual doesn't have al…

It's cool to have a quick respond on people's needs. I hope that it vil create a valuable net for all Z-people in Europe and specially in Denmark where I'm trying to find some 240-Z topics. ------------------ Mihail
