Hello all.great site...About 6 months ago picked up a 1982 280 zx from a customer.Original owner, always garaged.Not maintained well,oil air filter shocks ect.But very good paint and interior.And only 38500 miles.Paid 3500 and put in 3200..What fun I like taking it to some local areas and letting her fly, it handles amazing..Thought Id get new tires but...well a bit confusing..6 spoke 14 inch rims that came with car ..Leaning towards bf goodrich 225 60 r14..I may wait and check out the annual orange county get together in late april and see how they look as well.

Hello all! Just bought my first Zcar, its a 74 260 and today i might have bought two more. Hope to learn a little bit about these cars on here. I've been a member of other forums (Dodge cummins), and seem to get alot of info from those guys lets hope the same happens here.

Just got this 73 240z with less than 50k miles and almost 97% rust free.. This is my 4th project in 3 years with my 13yr old son and it's really been great watchin him get his hands dirty and dive right in with the rest of the boys!!! We have done the following so far.. 1983 Mercedes 500sl Convertable ---------(sold) 2002 Jeep liberty (Pimp My Ride Special)--- Son's Idea!!! 1981 Corvette Hot Rod And now the 1973 240z Plans are to keep mostly original because of the low miles!!! I posted a album of pics and the story of the car.... I found it in East Texas Craigslist!!!

Hi all, My name is James and Im from Sarasota, Florida. I drive a slightly modified 1985 shelby charger turbo. I recently got back from the 2 hours of sebring race and saw a 240Z that REALLY caught my eye. I have always been fans of these cars so I have started looking for one... I have around $1200 to spend. Can I find a decent Z car for that much? Also what are some good websites for information and performance modifications and write ups? Thanks

Greetings to all, I just purchased my first Z, it's a 72 240 currently in stock form, but will soon be transformed into what Bryan Little has done with his. http://datsunzgarage.com/engine/ Already collecting parts to transform it into an awesome street machine. I do Soda Blasting so if anyone has any questions or want their Z blasted call me I'm in Chesapeake Virginia.

Hi, I am Jeff and I've been into Z's for 20+ years. Owned lots of 1st generations and am currently clearing out my stash of parts and will be finishing up one last car as I am no longer able to spend the hours on the concrete working on them. Hello all- Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Scott and bought a 1975 280Z last year that I have been restoring for quite some time. It is a work in progress but is slowly taking shape. I have restored a few cars in the past and this one will be a restoration with small upgrades such as a 3.1 liter motor and Tokico shocks and springs, urethane bushings and so forth. Hi all, I have only recently signed up to this forum, but thanks already to Mike B and 26th-Z for sorting out a couple of NOS parts for me! From my brief visits to the site, it is great to see people with clearly the same sort of passion for their cars as I have for mine, along with an incredible attention to detail. My car is a 1978 registered 260Z coupe in 306 silver metallic (we did not have the 280Z here in the UK). From what I can work out, the car was built around October 1977, so it has the revised interior trim fitted, similar to the late model 280Z. Guy's I need some help here. Last night my wife was giving me a real hard time about my weight.I had a triple bypass 3 years ago and lost a bunch of weight. Today I got out the Z... WOO-HOO!!! After a long winter up here the skies opened up and we got all the way into the 40's.. (not so much the heat as the gosh darn humidity!) Im lovin the ride! A fellow drove up beside me and gave the perverbial thumbs up and I cant wait for more good weather!
