Hi all, looking forward to checking out the site. I have a 73 (owned it since 79). It was on the side of my property for about 12 years. Has some cancer on the passenger inner fender well. Looks like I will need to cut it out and rebuild the side and shore up the battery stand. Tried to fire it up today, but no spark. So testing begins tomorrow.

Well I have has a 240sx with sr20det swap for awhile now, and I have always liked the older z cars. On monday I became part of the Z owners family. I picked up a 72 240z running and in not so rusted condition for 1700 bucks. I am so happy I feel like a little kid. I will post pics up soon.

Hi I was searching around for some parts, when I found only one Fairlady Z 432 Magnesium wheel in a small junkyard. When I saw it, well, I just bought it and took it home. Now it`s painted and it looks nice. Besides being rare, it is beautifull!! Pictures doesn`t show it`s true beauty Filipe

Hi first time posting here. I originally owned a 72 240z when I was 16 now I am trying to get another by trading off my fc rx7 turbo project. I have been a long time member on all rx7 sites, and I hope this is one of my new homes. THe site is new to me so a pretty dumb question to kick things off. Are their stickies like most other sites that answer frequently asked questions or am I stuck searching for everything . Something like a buyers guide and stuffing an rb24 someone just has laying around from an old 240sx into a s30 chassis would be helpful.

Hello, I'm not new to Z cars, I have been around them for years. I was started into the Datsun world by my father years ago with photos of his '74 260Z he bought new out of college. His 260 rusted away in 1987 (year I was born) and he bought a '87 200SX which we kept untill 2005 when a crack adict plowed his '70's Buick into the rear and totaled it while it was parked in front of our house. Heart broken we began searching for a good Nissan replacement when I found a late 260 on carsoup.com. The Z was from Flordia and had very little rust, it is 305 Lt. Blue Metallic with a black interior and has now been taken back to stock. After all the work I had put into his Z I decid…

Hello my fellow ZED heads! I have been gone from here for awhile with the Z sitting in storage. I had found myself working on far to many projects. So, knowing how picky I am going ta be about my 240Z I just put it in storage and got a few other projects outa the way first. Here was one that took some time away from the Z. But I will say it was worth it! 1940 Pontiac This is how I found it tucked away in a barn. First checking for rust …

I'm in Redding California, own a '72 240, and I'm currently restoring it. I've owved the3 car since '96, and when I bought it it was in a state of restoration, but was in need of quite a bit of work. I sat on the car for many years, just recently had the time and the funds to get into the car, get body and paint going and general clean up of the under carriage and interior. The car is basically disassembled except for the running gear, tore out the stock exhaust and installing a header and exhaust system. Removed the carbs and intake and will be cleaning them up as much as possible, without rebuilding them. The last time the car was started was about three months ago…

Hi all I just imported my first 240Z ex Japan into Australia. It's a bit of a slight mess but will do the job. No compliance plates but have worked out it's a 72/73 240Z fairlady modified with a L28 EFI motor and other cool toys. the plan is to get it back to original and see what happens. I normally am found competiting offroad in my old range rover but with the Z I hope to have it on the track in the classics. Hope you don't get annoyed with the questions. My dad always says "there's no stupid questions ... only stupid people" I could be one of them!
