Hey guys i just joined the site, because i figured that you guys could give me some tips and advice on my car. I just purchased a 1975 280z that the guy swapped a 1981 turbo z motor into, and he threw in the old engine for free. the car is pretty solid, except for the floor boards and the doors. the spare tire spot needs work too. but for 700 bucks i cant complain. right now i am having a hard time locating a fender for the driver side along with the headlight bucket. if any of you guys has one on hand that would be willing to part with it, i would gladly buy it if its in good shape, and where can i get a new door shell for a reasonable price? i need both doors. …

Hey guys, thought I'd share some of the new wallpaper threw together. I noticed last night when I came home that my parking garage was empty, so I decided to do a quick little photo shoot.

It's been 28 years since my last Z and I just picked up a 73 240Z about 20 miles from my house. 110K original miles and matching numbers, 4 speed. If I'm lucky I see one about every 3 years here in northeast Mass. This one has it's last inspection sticker from 1985 still on the windshield. It's been in his garage for 23 years. It's a project, which is what I was looking for, but what I would consider minimal rust for a New England car. First course of action is to start stripping her down and take it from there. I figure about 2 years of puttering with it will get me a respectable summer driver.

Hey guys, I just found this site after being a member of hybridz for a few months. Is this site more geared to "stock" Z's as opposed to engine swaps? I am not opposed to modifying Z's, but I don't know if I fit the general crowd at hybridz. I think my preference sits somewhere between a "stock/full restoration" and a "roll cage/sbc conversion". I think a SBC Z would be flippin' awesome, but my interest at this point in life is more on handling than raw power, and I dont have the money to do both. I have a rust free '86 300ZX that is mostly stock and was going to be stripped down to be used as a autoX car, and then I fell in love with the 240Z. I have been looking for a 2…

Hello all, my names Mark. I've always been a huge fan of Z cars at Datsuns in general. Now, after selling my BMW 2002 several months back, I'm starting to get the car bug again, and Im looking for a Z to play around with. Cheers!

Copenhagen Classic Grand Prix Everything started with the announcement from a zclub member who given an advice for the Copenhagen Classic Car Grand Prix at the www.zclub.net Website. It was just an idea to join it but it grow and after a view weeks it looks like a big adventure for me will come true. The Z-club member who gives the advice is named Stefan Winquist and he does not just go there and watch the cars driven on the track, no he drives a 240Z Race car! Sorry, that isn’t correct, he is flying around the circuit. I saw him, I can say this. But lets start at the beginning. First of all I have to say that my health was in a very bad shape these days but there was…

Hey fellow Z lovers, I was researching Scarabs online and found several postings from this site. I thought you might like to know there is another original factory Scarab out there. I am the second owner and have all the original paperwork. I have a few pictures posted on cardomain.com under the same user name. It is listed as a 1975 280Z (the original donor car). I am trying to find and contact as many Scarab owners as I can. If you are one, know one, or just love old 'Z's reply to my post. Thanks, Larry
