Hey all , I'm Chris and again I'm back to my early days of Datsun ownership , but with a twist this time '' Internet community support '' . I've lurked for a while as most do , now it's time to join . As I navigate a bit more I will get a better feel of this site , so far it looks great ! I've owned a few Datsuns in my youth , 70 510 , 72 240 , b-210 can't remember year ,it was a fast back and another b-210 with a trunk ,the last two was very short term ownership . Now I own a 2002 Pathfinder and currently my baby is my new 71-240 .This I will own for eternity ! I've been busy doing a lot of upgrades to the old bushings on the front end and in a couple more weeks the stru…

Finally jioned this web site. It seems a little hard to navigate, not used to this format. Anyway I have a 72 240 (1st place daily driver in Daytona this year) and a 82ZXT that I just bought as a project. It sure drives alot different that my 240

Just bought a '72 240Z as a project. Has a 2.8 bottom end and the stock 240 head (P90 I believe), 4-spd, long tube header. Been sitting a while, supposedly was fouling out plugs when it was parked. Has dual SU's on it. Picking it up over the holidays. Minor rust on the floorboards and right rear quarter. Oh, and I'm in SC.

Hello! New guy here from So. Cal. I have a 76 280Z and had a 77 280Z a few years ago. I worked at a Datsun dealer in the late 70's and used to do new car prep work on 280Z's fresh off the truck! Great cars.

Some nice fall pics of my Z, finally on all fours and out of Restoration ICU...Still needs some rehabilitation after being bedridden for so long, but the fall colors seem to agree with him! Have a great Thanksgiving, everyone. Drive safely if you must..I'll be the grumpy dude stuck in the minivan on I-95. Steve

Hi all- just purchased my first Z, a 72 z and will begin to make it the way it should be. Any advice on finding someone in Florida who can re-chrome a bumper and do electrical work?

Hi everyone, I belong to another Z car forum and have found much useful information here so I thought I would join and introduce myself. I have a pretty stock 1972 240Z, all numbers matching car that has had little done with the exception of new electronic ignition (pertronix), coil, z specialties IR alternator and a mild cam upgrade. Lots of detail work under the hood and of course black paint. Still lots to do as it goes in for new floors ( Zeed findings) this December and perhaps a new coat of colour before spring. I hope you like her. Cheers, Chris

I am posting pics of my newly purchased '75 280z. I will admit not knowing much about z cars, but I have read a lot this weekend on the forum. It is an original 43K mile car and as far as I can tell, it has the original spark plugs. There are 4 work orders in the records. New fuel pump in 1991, new clutch plate in 1999, new distributor in 2001, and new muffler and exhaust pipe this year. It is a 2 owner car, and everything except the clock works. The A/C blows very cold. Exterior had one rust spot on the kick panel driver's side which was repaired and repainted. Otherwise, the paint is supposed to be original. No rust currently. I posted a lot of pictures. If t…

Hey everyone! I've been wanting to fix My very clean, straight, 1973 260z for awhile now, but just recently got a steady income to fix her up. I really don't know what's wrong with it, but I know the cam is scored, and one of my main bearings is cracked. I'll probably post a more in depth help topic later!

Hello everyone my name is Jon. I have been a Z car fan since I was a small child thanks to my father. I hope to someday get my hands on a 1970-71 240z. Those are by far my favorite. Anyhow, pleasure to be part of this forum and I shall talk with you all later. Thanks, -Jon

YAY! A forum dedicated to NISSAN! And The Z car especially! I love my 1978 280z. It's comfy, and makes me want to drive fast! The only problem is it's not running right now and hasn't been since I got it. There's something wrong with the fuel delivery. I pour gas in the intake and it runs, but it won't run just turning the key. The cold start injector is fine I was told. the injectors might be bad, but I don't think all 6 went bad at the same time. But that's enough of that. If there's anyone in the forum in Marquette MI that would be willing to let me take one for a drive, I wouldn't mind seeing how mine might turn out like and if anyone wants to throw me pointers on my …
