Hello people! A few weeks ago I picked up a clean 1974 260Z 2+2, as a "toy" and a car for my teenage son and stepson to drive, to teach them about things mechanical, and give them something constructive to focus on. As a former owner of several British roadsters, mostly Triumph TRs, I know that living with an older sportscar teaches many valuable lessons: it teaches patience, deductive reasoning (as in "where the hell can that electrical short be?"), problem solving, and improvisation (the MacGuyver effect). Driving a Triumph as my only car taught me many things about life :-) One of those lessons was of course: "sometimes you walk." I bought the Z because the kids d…

Hello fellow Zians! I have been in love with cars for a long time, and have owned , now, about 6 cars. I have recently purchased a 1973 240z with only 1 owner!! It had been staring at me for the past 2 years now everytime i passed it on my way home, only 1/4 mile from my house!!! I kept saying, it must be an old guys car, and there's no way he would let her go. But, one day about 5 days ago I sucked it up and left a note on his windshield asking if he was interested in selling the car to someone who would take care of it and bring it back to life. I got a call 3 days later and went down and talked to him. He told me the cars life story. . . . ." His father and mother had …

Just wanted to say hello to all of the "Z-Fanatics" out there. I love ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZs I 've owned one since 1978 when I bought new. They run great and are fun to drive on top of that. I always get thumbs up from people when I'm driving around town. It's a testimonial to what a fantanstic car the Z is. I'm glad I found a place to enjoy my favorite pastime: talking z's. K

Just wanted to brag about my new ride... My '02 Pathy was giving me issues and the price for parts on that thing was rediculous so I swapped her out for a new truck. Back to life with a bed for me! I went to get a Titan but after weighing the pros and cons along with what I actually need from my truck coupled with how satisfied and happy my old Frontier made me I decided on a '07 Frontier Crew Cab Long Bed. I got the SE 4x4 with the 6 spd M/T. Not a bad choice at all... It has more HP, TQ, Towing, Hauling than the Pathy did and Better Gas Mileage to boot. That's right... bigger, heavier and more powerful with better MPG!!! Now instead of putting time and money in m…

Hey guys/gals, I just moved from Smithfield VA, to Dallas Georgia about 40 miles north of atlanta. I love the roads around here, there are no hills where i'm from. Anyway are any of you around Dallas or Cartersville or Marietta. And also can anyone suggest a decent Z car or classic sports car club in my area. Oh and for those of you who might remember the last time i posted anything I sold that ugly hood i was asking about and the Z is currently in the body shop getting the treatment it deserves.

Hey boys & gals, new guy Wab here. This is my story, hope you'll enjoy it! My first encounter with the Z was way back in 1967 at Montreal's international exposition also known as Expo 67. I was only 9 yrs old then, but very interested in the car world. Gee dad! That little car looks awfully fast!! i remember saying. I dunno son, my father replied, it's just a japanese car. A few years later, in '71, there was was one of these who would zoom down the road behind our house everyday at 5:15pm and i would stop wathever i was doing in the back yard just to watch it go by and listen to it, just wishing to get one, once i'm old enough to drive. Many years later, in…
