Hi everyone, I just found this site today. I owned both a 1975 280Z, and a 1974 260Z as a teen in the late 80s. I traded them both in on a Pontiac Fierro in 1989 (big mistake). The Fierro died years ago. I purchased a 1972 240Z last month, and am anxiously awaiting for the weather to get warmer so I can start the restoration process. I had somewhat forgotten how much fun it is to drive these cars!!

Hey y'all, I'm new on here. I just bought a 240Z last Fall that I'm in the process of fixing up. I want to get the car painted this Spring but I'm trying to decide whether to just buy bumpers (currently doesn't have them) or maybe a bodykit with the integrated bumpers, maybe something like the MSA2 kit. I'm leaning towards just getting the bumpers (maybe Euro...or carbon fiber) and maybe a small front air dam...that way it'll maintain the classic, clean look. Any opinions or suggestions out there on this? Here are some current pics: And oh yeah......GO BEARS!!!!!!

hey i just got a 73 240z for free. no title no keys no door handles . tad bit of rust interior is in decent shape needs a new door and possibly new a quarter panel. axle is pretty stiff and looks like it might be done for good. apparently car has just been sittin in the back of this rental place for 20 years. so i took it seeing as i needed a project for my advanced auto tech class. its my senior year in high school and want to have a fun cruiser this summer. engine actually looks to be in damn good shape but we'll see once i pull it and tear it apart. also appears to have had a 5speed swap already done to it but had the 4 speed knob on it. i wanna make some decent power …

Hi all you Znuts, I am brand new! I have never seen a Z-yes I have, yesterday when Daddy brought me home from the hospital-but dang it, he drove me home in a Dodge trYUCK! After we for home he took me out in the garage and let me grunt around in the newly bed linered floors of hi-er my Z! He told me about entering this car in the show at Daytona, and I told him that if he didn't get it done a month before the show I would make diapers he couldn't believe. He laughed and told me SBlake had introduced him to a can that took care of diapers-I guess I am new to all of this, but... I tried to get my brother Thomas to sit in the picture with me, but he wouldn't wear the…

My near complete 78 280z. Motor going in on Sunday! These shots show the car after I did all the body work and paint. The rear end I thought of in a dream, it was rather weird... some questions are better left unaswered. Its paint color is that of an E36 BMW. PPG BMW Cosmos Black Metallic. The struts, steering and control arms are all plated. Brakes are currently factory, but with Brembo rotors. It has a griffin radiator that will soon be running coolant through a turbo charged F54 block and N42 Head. I will be sure to post more pictures of the car when its further along. Tell me what you think.

Well, looks like I broke a ring and possibly a ring land on the #3 cylinder... Coming around turn 9 at Laguna Seca at a high rate of speed with a too low gas tank, I starved the motor and it looks like it leaned out enough to pop #3. It's only holding 75 psi now... ;( Oh well, here are some pics anyway: http://tinyurl.com/2klvx6
