Hi all, So I'm new to the forum. I look forward to everyones input. I have a 1970 240z that I purchased from my uncle before he passed away from lung cancer. The build date is 1969 but I don't remember the month. VIN is HLS30-00379. This Z has had a pretty tough life... barely survived a Texas hailstorm, 30 years of Florida heat and hurricanes, and an amateur restoration by me when I was 14. She is in good running shape except the typical rusted wheel wells, door bottoms, fender bottoms, floor pans, rails.... and poor craftsmanship by me when I was young and ignorant. I live in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Grew up at the Mid-Ohio race track. Love anything…

Hello Z people, Jim here, I’m a Software Developer / Partial owner of JH Auto - Body shop and salvage yard in northwest Alabama. Over the past several years this has split my time between Omaha, NE (summer months) and Muscle Shoals, AL (winter) although within about 2 weeks I’ll be in the Sioux City, IA area for what looks to be a long time. Z cars I currently have are 78' and 81' Coupes. The 78' will be my keeper and I may part out the 81'. Also I have a complete 78' 2+2 that I will be parting out after I take a few things I need for the coupe. The cars were purchased from insurance auctions in AL so they are pretty much rust free. I have had these cars for about a y…

Hello everybody. I'm new here to this forum. I have recently found a '73 240z with 47021 original miles. It needs a good paint job. I am in the process of changing out the struts all the way around. I have also purchased the master bushing kit from Black Dragon. It came with a complete new gasket/ weather striping kit. I'm also going to go ahead and change out the ujoints for sh-ts and grins. The other day I posted in someone thread about fuel gages. I have changed out the sending unit. The old and new in a change out tank both read half full when topped off. I'll figure it out, when I do, I'll post and let everyone know what the problem was. As for personal inf…

Hi. I'm Glenn. I bought a white 1972 240Z a few months ago, and I just joined as a member. I'm so excited to see that there are so many owners of the Zcars. I'll be posting my photos as I go. Currently, I haven't done any work to my car yet. Still haven't really decided what I'm gonna do. Probably will keep it close to stock as possible, for now.

Hello , I'm Joe Bass and I have a 71 240 that is in very bad shape , everything from the seats backward is rusted and I can't get it to start . It turns over fine , any suggestions , it won't do anything when turning the key , have to turn over by jumping solenoid. I'm in Kentucky and could really use some Z friends here ! Does anybody know any Z people here ? Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for this car that I can download ?
