Greetings to the Forum. My Z is a '73 240, all stock inside/out with original 3spd. automatic (drinking coffee while driving to work is impossible with a manual... as I've learned from personal experience. ), 119K original miles. A very fun ride, indeed. I'm looking forward to learning more about the vehicle and the culture from the Forum, since this is my first fun car.

I'm new here but I'll get the hang of it. My name is Rosco, I first got into Z cars when I was 14 I played with them for about 5 years. I lost interest when my girlfriend wrapped my baby around two trees, it was a 1975 280 with a 82 engine and a 4 speed trans. I lost interest in that girl and 280's. But I'm ready to get back in the game. I'll have lots of questions as I'm just a shad tree mechanic but I have the will and passion to succeed. So thanks for having me and I'll talk to you soon ~Rosco~

Hi everyone. Great site. I just got my hand on a 78 280Z 5 speed driver. It has some pretty serious rust and a handful of things that i'll need to work on. I took it out for drive today and I have to bleed the clutch AGAIN! Anyone have a better way to to do this? Here are some pics. I'll be asking a lot of questions along the long hard road of what looks like a restoration. Thanks

hey guys so just joined here and been looking around. I am in the process of trying to decide what swap to do. Ive been wondering has anyone here ever tried to swap the engine out of an M3 any year? I know its a rear wheel drive engine so i thought there might be some potential there.

Longtime lurker and been doing a lot of reading. Own a 1984 300ZX purchased in Japan, delivered to Anderson Air Force Base in Guam. Great car, very pampered and very spoiled, but now it's time to do a little work. Main thing I need to do is replace the two front struts and rear shocks. I'm handy with a wrench, have a decent tool setup, but what I don't have is an abundance of time. I have the Factory Service Manual (that is a requirement for any and all vehicles we own), and while the diagrams are excellent, the instructions often leave a lot to be desired. Not worried about the rear shocks, but the front struts have me a bit concerned. Better to take them to my front-end…

Was not sure where to post this but I just found this car in my hometown in Florida. I am not interested in the car but I thought somebody might be. I went and looked at the car and it looks as clean in person as it does in the pics. The dealership who is selling it called me after they took it in on trade to see if I was interested. Dont let the advertised price scare you. They want to sell this car. http://cars.netlook.com/detail/used-1986-nissan-300zx-zx-gainesville-ocala-florida-a895476.html

Hello to all, I am new to this forum. I was given a 76 280Z with many little problems, the biggest is electrical. It was a Southern Cal. car. It's FI with a 5sp. Little to no rust w/ minor body damage. I would like to replace the seats with some that have better support (as I'm getting older) for those Oregon trips that I'm planning. Anyone out in Oregon, would enjoy hearing from you. Thanks to one and all Steve

I'm Paul, currently working on an LS1 BMW M3 and waiting on some header R&D. So I picked up my first Z car to play with. She's a sad sight but should prove to be a lot of fun! My favorite healper Jack Original Document Miles There is a lot in store, and the car needs a lot of rehab, but overall a fairly clean car given it's age... Minus the awesome Passenger side fender.
