This is georgeg and I live in Scottsdale, AZ. I am an original owner of a 1973 240Z. I got my car on May 5,1973 and have enjoyed every bit of 159,800 miles. The only problem I have had was with the carburetors and vapor locking. I then switched to the SUs and have not had any problems since then. GREAT CAR:)

My name is David and I am in Atlanta. I have always loved the old 240z and it's second on my list of all time cars I would love to have within reason the first being a 71 riviera. Recently I told a buddy of mine that I would "Get that junker out of his driveway, name his price" well the price he named was very reasonable (i think) and so now I am the proud owner of a 76 Fairlady Z and I think it's beautiful. Now, I want to restore it not because I think it's worth anything but because I would love to drive it. Also, I don't even change my own oil, so I'm not sure if I am going to do any work or just find someone to do it for me. Anyway I am grateful to find such a weal…

Hello y'all. Transplanted Texan from Connecticut for 19 years! I bought my early 260Z new in spring of 1974. Anybody remember Stephens World of Wheels on Rt 6 in Bristol? Wanted a silver one, but a brown one came in when my number was called. The only bondo in this car was installed due to the gorillas unloading of the car off of the transport. Small ding on the drivers door. "upgraded" the car in 1977 with 3 Webers, headers and a whole lot of suspension stuff. Ran like a bat outta hell and rode like a rigid frame Harley! Good 85,000 mile, mostly dent-free, original paint(bad) car except for the bottom 4 inches. Not sure if the rust is terminal. I have not driven the car …

Hi, I had a 71 240Z about ten years ago and loved it. Let my wife talk me into to selling it because "it was only a two seater". A couple of weeks ago after months of looking found a very clean 77 280Z. Its in my carport and have already started to spend hours working on it. I joined because I am not so mechanicaly inclined and hope I can find direction and info here. Also looking for anyone in my area that also into the Z life. Thanks Jim Oakland, Ca.

I was just looking for some info on why my heater don't work and I ended up joining the group. Now it is past my bedtime. After months and months of perfecting the bodywork on my 240 I finally got it back on the road. Some guy backed into it in a parking lot. Then I parked it on the street and a tree limb fell on it during a windstorm. Holy crap. I think I will leave the dents in there.

I just purchased a '73 about 2 months ago. As purchased, it had Weber DGV downdrafts, and pretty much nothing else. No rust, great interior, but barely ran, and came with an uninstalled tokico suspension set (struts/springs) and uninstalled energy suspension bushings. heres how it was when i first brought it home: im totally in love with the car, and it needed alot of work to get it driveable and reliable again. since i bought it i installed the suspension kit, all the urethane bushings (what a pain!), and bought some wheels, redid the header-back exhaust to 2.25 inch piping with a single glasspack. Then from there it was the usual tune up stuff, valve adjustmen…

Hello all! Thought I'd drop in and say hey. Never owned a Z, but love the lines, and can't wait to pick mine up hopefully next week.
