Finally finished my "show carbs", I think I'll throw them up on "pay it forward"? Seriously, they look so nice, I'm thinking about putting studs in the wall of my office and hanging the up like art. I don't recommend that anyone else do this... It took forever.

Hi all, I got my son a 74 260 z and I paid 450 dollars for it so you know I'll be looking for some parts and info. I found the zcar site first and then this one. My son met another zcar owner the first time out with the car at an exhaust shop in Wichita. I think he may be a member here. Looking forward to lots of reading and learning. Dave

So I have been lurking here for a while but this is my first post. I live in Canton Georgia about 30 minutes north of Atlanta. I have a 70' 240 that is partially disassembled. I'm not doing a full resto just fixing some things here and there although, I have to say, seeing some of the amazing things you guys have done makes me want to build a rotisserie and start tearing it down. I also just bought a 74 260 2+2 thats going to be my daily driver for a while. I've attached a few shots of the newest.

I am new to the club. Hope to be able to get a little help with the 77 280Z. Just got the head resurfaced and back together. I think I have some wires crossed on the Thermotime switch and maybe the temp senor. Before I put it back together this time I was getting a lot of extra fuel on the plugs, but hopefully I got it back right. You guys have a great afternoon. Seeya, Rick1946

Well I've wanted a Z since I was 12 years old. That was 1983. I got one this weekend. On the plus side: the engine is newish, the interior is good, there is minimal rot. On the bad side, it has been at least three colors, the wheel wells are cut and flares are mudded on, the the stock front valance pieces are non existent. None the less, I'm pretty psyched. Any other owners in Southern NM? I think I've seen one S30 on the road around here. It had a wing and louvers that I didn't like at all, so they are removed (and potentially for sale cheap.) My brother and I put the bumpers back on, but to make the 280 bumpers less obnoxious, we drilled out the gas shocks on t…

I owned a 75Z back in the when I was a young single guy . Did a Lot of autocrossing with the then Seacoast auto sports club. We used to race on what was then Pease airforce base aircraft parking apron. It was a real gas. That expance of concrete allowed for some real 3rd gear speed runs. Of course that all stopped with wife and kids. Now kids grown, wife left and am back into Z's again sort of. I have a 78Z w/ a ferrari 250GTO body and interior conversion. I am at this time working on a sbc and tko600 install.

Hey guys, I haven't been active much at all on here but I have been ghosting the forum for around the last 4 years and reading up while I was looking for my Z. Ok, so where to begin. I have always loved the Z cars and have yearned to own one for a long time. After buying a new house with what basically is a small warehouse for a shed I decided the time had come to get said vehicle! So the search began, 3 years of me being a fussy bastard and ghosting 12 or so different Aussie car forums netted me a number of a "phantom Z seller". This phantom Z seller (Isaac Smith) was suppose to only come out near summer and sell Z cars?! After a phone call that lasted a good hour…

Hi All, I bought my Z a few months ago and have been doing some work on it. I have used this forum for info and product info. I have found it very informative. I am the third owner of this 1970 Z, HLS30-06389. I pretty much bought it as you see it. Owner 2 bought it in 72 and had kept it in his garage most of its life. It has 54,293 miles on it, with a few mods and changes, nicely done though IMHO. Anyway glad to be on board here and I hope I can contribute something other than my two cents. Happy Turkey Day!! TZ

Glad to be associated with a group of like minded Z car owners. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and to learn more about restoration, where to get parts, and where to get technical information on solving elusive problems with an old Z car.
