Hi everyone. I just dropped in to get some Z memorabilia off of my hands, and to say hi and drool over some of the Zs around here!! A few years ago I owned a '79 280ZX, a seriously molested '78 280Z, and a cherry restoration in progress '76 280Z. However, as things usually go, my life went in a direction where I could not devote enough time to my babies so they had to go. I couldn't stand seeing them just sit. It was depressing. So anyway, here I am.

While some of the z's are no longer with me, I am the proud owner of a 2004.5 350z roadster (shhh! wife thinks it's hers ) and the 71 that I bought this weekend. not here yet but still on it's way from cali. I have two boys ages 15,16 that are just as excited about th car as I am as this is the one model z that I've never had the opportunity to own, till now!! Just wanted to say "Hello " to everone on here and that I'm looking forward to talkin z's with you all. Darren

Over the weekend the Pittsburgh vintage grand prix races were held along with a large (2000) car show. All makes of foreign and domestics. Each foreign car groups were in different locations all over the Shenley Golf course. The had a section for all the Japanese cars, most of the cars were the Mazda Miata and their club, had about 40 cars. The Nissan (Datsun) were represented by 9 cars. There were 1-1600, 1-2000, 2-240, 2-280, 1-280zx, 1-300 and 1-350. We all had a great time talking and showing off our cars. Here are a couple of pictures. This is the most Z in one car show that I have ever seen in Pittsburgh. There are a couple of images of the other car area…

I'm a new member and it's really a Datsun. I just aquired a Alpha Ferrari Kit car (built in 1986) on a 1976 280Z frame and engine. It hasn't run in over 5 years, and it needs a lot of TLC, so I'll be counting on you folks for a lot of advice. Thanks in advance ol fiat

Hey. I just got my 72' 240z in june09, and it's my first car. There's barely any surface rust and no structural rust. It's lime green and is pretty much original. I've always been interested in cars, and now with this project i really want to get better and hopefully do something with cars for a living. The engine doesn't run at the moment but i got the electrical working a couple days ago. I decided to get it cause I live in a place with really rich kids, and it was either get an awesome classic to fix up or get a used civic to try and compete with the guys in new Mercedes'. I'm looking forward to getting this thing on the road and possibly picking up some chicks on the …

After months of researching Z cars and hunting on Craigslist for them, I finally went out and bought a 1976 280z for $1850. So I also thought it'd be time to register here instead of just browsing here all the time. So far all the car needs to become a daily driver for me is new exhaust and rear brakes. The old one is very rusty and the muffler had fallen off(Sounds like a tank without the muffler). It also needs new rear drums and rear wheel cylinder. I hopping to take care of all that in the next few weeks as the parts arrive. Then just a few little things like side mirrors and a rear view mirror to make it street legal here in WA. Here's the exhaust system I'm order…
